Thor hurries to Earth to find the fair Sif and discover what sinister plot she has unearthed. Upon entering a time funnel, Thor meets a foe he has fought before.

Pluto brings his mutates to the 20th century to conquer Earth. Balder, unable to relieve himself from thoughts of the Norn Queen, is sent to Earth by Odin to aid Thor and Sif in battle.

Thor, Sif, and Balder enter the Atomic Research Center to find the one that Pluto mentioned. There they find the a man called HIM, who was created by humans to be superior.

Thor continues to pursue HIM and the prisoner, Sif. As his anger wells, Thor succumbs to the Warrior Madness, and becomes a merciless powerhouse of destruction.
