Johnny Darkness Says:
X-Men #98 (v1) : OMG it is. It's Dr Doom ice skating.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
The Punisher #22 (v2) : Hey, that's an AWESOME title! But maybe I'm a little too into the 80s...

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Marvel Team-Up #96 (v1) : Add Status Quo to the list of lame villains I love.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Wolverine #3 (v2) : I like Patch, too. Best quote from the issue: "Too flippin' metaphysical for me, mate."

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Daredevil #308 (v1) : This issue has so many characters I love. Even Slug makes an appearance!

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Daredevil #308 (v1) : Secret Empire, eh? Anyway, awesome cover.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Web of Spider-Man #125b (v1) : Creepy.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Doc Savage #5 (v2) : OOPS! Yes, they do!

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Doc Savage #5 (v2) : DC had some really good Doc Samson comics. They're better at pulp characters. Marvel never did this sort of thing well.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
X-Men #94 (v1) : Count Nefaria sucks. I can't believe how many stories he was in back in the day.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
X-Men #94 (v1) : Sunfire... really hates the X-Men.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
X-Men #43b (v1) : I always assumed his blast had some sort of heat. I imagined if he blew someone's arm off it would be instantly cauterized, and buildings would become charred remains. I guess I was wrong.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Captain America #13 (v3) : I don't like the art, or Cap's shield, but I like the story. I don't like the idea of Steve becoming involved in politics, and I hope he changes his mind. And I don't trust this Bolt guy at all.
I liked this quote from Shannon: "I swear, sometimes when you talk, I hear the National Anthem."

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Generation X #5 : I really don't like this interpretation of Gateway.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Avengers #164 (v1) : Beast gets a lot of action back in the 70s and 80s.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Wolverine #109 (v2) : Shouldn't his bone claws be breaking? Anyway, I sort of liked how the Hand was portrayed here. Even though it was very 90s. Ironically, it kind of reminded me of the Foot Clan.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Captain America #322 (v1) : The first few pages were basically an inner monologue by Cap that I enjoyed. One of the things he said I think perfectly sums up Cap's ideals: "That's right. I'm just one man. One man who's dedicated his life to the ideals of freedom, justice and equality. Some folks misunderstand me. They think I represent the American government, its political system, or its official policies. I DON'T. I represent the American Dream... the notion that human beings should have the opportunity to better their lives and attain their noblest aspirations. Being Captain America is the fulfillment of my American Dream. No one forced me to take the name or represent the ideals. I chose to. The responsibility has weighed heavy on me at times.

Johnny Darkness Says:
Avengers Spotlight #21a : Ew. I would hate to drink out of a quiver. Or share a drink with the Orb for that matter.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Web of Spider-Man #2 (v1) : Poor Gripes!

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Incredible Hulk #260 (v1) : Sanshiro's kind of a downer.

Johnny Darkness Says:
Captain America #164 (v1) : The comments here really make me wanna read this issue. Especially to find out what the hell Nick Fury is wearing.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Iron Man #224 (v1) : I couldn't help but google Ed Meese.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Firestar #2 (v1) : Wow, this was really good. It easily could have been an issue of New Mutants. It felt like a Chris Claremont story. And damn, I've never seen the White Queen be so evil.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Midnight Sons Unlimited #1a : Surprisingly nice artwork.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Fantastic Force #5 (v1) : I'm assuming this whole series is bad.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Punisher War Journal #4 (v2) : As Stilt Man's biggest fan, I couldn't give this any less than 5 stars. And I have to say, this has gotta be one of my favorite Punisher issues.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Punisher War Journal #4 (v2) : Rhino looks strangely reptilian here.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Amazing Spider-Man #192 (v1) : So... Jonah really is insane.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
The Punisher #23 (v6) : I liked that ending.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
X-Men #129 (v1) : Rule number 1: Never bother Wolverine when he's reading porn.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Alias #10 : You know, I wouldn't mind issues in this format more often. At least it takes longer than 3 minutes to read, unlike most comics these days.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Rom #7 : I personally loved this, especially the horror elements.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Web of Spider-Man #1 (v1) : I tend to give an extra star to stories about the symbiote suit. I just dig it.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Power Man and Iron Fist #59 (v1) : This was really well done. I like how they explored the effects of the explosion, drawing us into the action, as opposed to just glossing over it in a couple panels.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Fantastic Four #205 (v1) : Action packed, but not exactly enthralling. I do like the cover art a lot.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Marvel Two-in-One #50 : Thing has quite a devil-may-care attitude towards time traveling.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Fantastic Four #79 (v1) : I haven't had a chance to read much original Lee/Kirby Fantastic Four, so I'm really impressed right now. By both the art and the writing.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Ghost Rider #15 (v2) : Waaaayyyy too much sympathy for the Orb going around!

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Rom #6 : I wonder what the situation is with ROM's genitals. And I find I have that question about a disturbing amount of Marvel characters.

Marvel Comments

Johnny Darkness Says:
Cage #3 (v1) : So tedious. And I like the way Turner draws Cage, but nothing else.
