Mr. M. Says:
Fantastic Four #65 (v1) : I love the idea of Kree being on Earth tousands years ago but Ronan could be better developed character. And he talks to himself way too much.

Fantastic Four #5a Annual : Psycho Man's machine was a much to big for me, I mean the one he kept in his hands, for such small guy he really had big equipment. But the whole story is nice. It's good to see Inhumans and Black Panther once more, even if their meeting is handy coincidence created by Stan. And Sue's pregnant. Great idea.

Silver Surfer story is good work, but I still don't get his powers. Just when you think he fights toe to toe, he makes some nutty tricks and changes molecules, transforms smth or teleports himself. Hope they set some limit of his powers in the future.

Mr. M. Says:
Avengers #44 (v1) : Red Guardian's change of heart isn't particulary good idea. And making him long forgotten Black Widow's husband was unnecessary since nothing was really made of it except for short mix of contradicting thouths in Hawkeye's mind. But he had them without Red Guardian so maybe it's his natural state. But the development of Avengers as a group is well handed and I hope that we'll see more of Black Widow soon.

Kez Says:
Incredible Hulk #146 (v1) : I still find it really surreal that Betty Ross is inexplicably allowed to be present for all these top secret military projects. All she does is whine about how much she loves Bruce. Ross being her father or not, it just wouldn't hapen.

Thor #205 (v1) : Thoroughly enjoyed this run. I might even go so far as to say this is the highest point in the order for me so far. In terms of consistent quality, I don't think anything I've read up to this point matches it. There are loads of interweaving plot threads, minor points from earlier issues are revealed to be key to the story, a huge amount of character development in all of Thor's buddies (Except maybe Sif, she's still quite boring), some really quite emotional moments. Great stuff.

Marvel Super-Heroes #20 (v1) : Thumbs up for Doom character development.

Safis Says:
Fantastic Four #2a Annual : Doomie's back! Yay!

It sure is apparent when re-reading the FF #5 reprint how much better the art has gotten, even two years later. The Thing, especially, is drastically improved.

It's a little sad, though, that we read Doom's origin, and then right after that we get an abridged version of Doom's origin again! Also, what was that about a double-length feature? Did I blink or something? The title story was only about 20 pages!

Man, there are so many things wrong with Rama-Tut and Dr. Doom's identity theory. Yikes.

Overall, I was a little disappointed with this second annual. The FF's first annual was amazing, one of the best stories in the Order so far, but this one kind of fell short. I really did appreciate the expanded origin story for Dr. Doom, though.

Agrippina Says:
Tales of Suspense #48 (v1) : You'd think that a genius like Stark could rig up some kind of jump-starter using his car battery... but then, I guess, there wouldn't be the DRAMA of him almost passing out in every single issue. Meanwhile, it's nice to finally be up to the point where Iron Man stops looking like a walking toaster.

Agrippina Says:
Fantastic Four #21 (v1) : The message of this issue is very nice and all... but it doesn't exactly tie in with the rampant anti-communism agenda of the comics of this era, or with the cringe-worthy depiction of Asian races and the patronising treatment of female characters. Do as they say, not as they do, apparently!

Mr. M. Says:
X-Men #31 (v1) : Good first half of a story. It was looong time since we could read smth interesting about personal lives of merry mutants. But Cobalt Man?

Mr. M. Says:
Amazing Spider-Man #49 (v1) : Two villains, end of good story, nice supporting cast. And I still think that MJ is good character in the series.

Amazing Spider-Man #46 (v1) : It's not shocking but very solid issue. Spidey makes up for poor DD on Marvel streets.

Mr. M. Says:
Fantastic Four #4 Annual : I love the idea of bringing the original Human Torch into picture. Execution could be better but still. I always enjoy reading Golden Age heroes in 'centemporary' environment, except for Namor. Also Quasimodo's finale is a nice idea and even touching in its corny way.

Mr. M. Says:
Strange Tales #156a (v1) : At this point, Strange Tales is one of the best series in Marvel. I really enjoy Fury's fight against Hydra and Steranko's art, while Strange gest more intense and surreal. Still, Zom look awfull.

Mr. M. Says:
Tales to Astonish #91a (v1) : Hulk story is a BIG disappointment. How can anyone create Abomination and not show a real great fight against Hulk? Unbelievable!

Mr. M. Says:
Tales to Astonish #90a (v1) : Byrrah is so weak as a villain, but yeah, his eyes are a little unsettling. Waiting for Abomination vs. Hulk showdown.

Mr. M. Says:
Strange Tales #150a (v1) : The exit of Kaluu and Umar's appereance is very sudden and comes as a hasty idea. Just get rid one baddie and quickly bring another. But it's good to know that Hydra lives.

Mr. M. Says:
Amazing Spider-Man #43 (v1) : MJ's the best. No other in any other series female is at least in half so fun reading as MJ is. Also fight with Rhino is nicely executed.

Mr. M. Says:
Avengers #38 (v1) : Having Hercules added to the Avengers (not officialy yet) is a good move and put more fresh air to the series. Thomas may write horrible X-Men but his Avengers aren't bad.

Marvel Comments

Mr. M. Says:
Avengers #34 (v1) : Making Laser to fight against whole Avengers and still perform pretty well is hard to believe in. And that's what makes the whole story rather bad. Not to mention a lot of unnecessary talking.

Mr. M. Says:
X-Men #27 (v1) : Thomas is really killing this series, he tries older baddies for various approaches but none of them works. Mimic in X-Men looks bad and simply out of place. Mimic could, perhaps, have been a good addition to the team but if Roy writes a script.

Mr. M. Says:
Tales to Astonish #88a (v1) : Ugh. I don't enjoy reading Sub-Mariner almost at all and issues like this just make it much, much worse. Whole robot idea is simply stupid. And robot's desing too. No better luck with Hulk either, but it's still at least slightly better than Namor.

Strange Tales #113 (v1) : Maybe it's just me, but why does everyone find the idea of a man controlling plants so incredibly preposterous that it's unbelievable? Surely New York has seen some stranger things.

Mr. M. Says:
Amazing Spider-Man #3 Annual : Apart from Hulk's whereabouts and issue with Daredevil I strongly dislike the way the Avengers act in this issue. They are jerks, especially Wasp and the whole concept of capturing the Hulk looks not so moral to me delivered in this way. Also, they all can't capture Hulk so they send Spidey alone?

Mr. M. Says:
Amazing Spider-Man #41 (v1) : Story of Peter's life continues in good direction and all supporting cast looks well. I like MJ in this issue, it is here when I first thought than she's perfect for Peter if he's ever going to be with someone. Rhino as a villain isn't too great, but after Green Goblin story he brings more comedic relief.

Mr. M. Says:
Amazing Spider-Man #40 (v1) : After great first part, I was a little bit disappointed with ending. Even if I don't have anything against memory loss, which is quite cheap idea, I hate how Osborn simply talks about his life and activities. Villains usually do such things, but it's usually delivered in unbelievable way. Like here, I really had problems with accepting that he just started to talk while Peter frees himself. The rest of the story is very good though.

Mr. M. Says:
Amazing Spider-Man #39 (v1) : Great classic. Stan really outdone himself in this. Apart from few previous story arcs (like Galactus trilogy in FF) this one of the best of his work. Peter fights out of his costume, unmasking of both Spidey and Goblin is well handed, art is great, Romita's Spider-Man looks even better than most of Ditko's drawing (or is it just me?). It's very good part one of the story.

Kez Says:
Thor #201 (v1) : I really like that when Pluto threatened Thor's friends, he continued fighting anyway as he would not have them live in a world ruled by Pluto. It subverts the usual pattern of a good guy being all "Do what you want to me, I won't yield!" and then immediately yielding when their loved ones are threatened. Even in the face of logic, like the universe will end if they don't act or whatever.

Kez Says:
Thor #200 (v1) : Yeah, they just wanted to do something "special" for the 200th issue. Which is pretty spurious in and of itself. Journey Into Mystery #83 had the first Thor, then was changed to "Thor" at #126. No matter how you look at it, this is hardly the 200th issue of Thor. Issue #183 (Essentially the 100th issue) passed without mention, I imagine #226th issue (Another way of looking at the 100th issue) will be similarly overlooked.

Either way, Thor is currently in the middle of a pretty good run which I guess spanned a few years at the time. If I'd waited a month for this, only to find out that only one panel really had any bearing on the actual story... I'd be pretty annoyed.
