Quite bad.
Lots of fights, broken up by scenes that - as a whole - lack much sense. And make even less sense when one recalls the villain's actions in the previous issue.
We now learn that aliens were involved the whole time. And what everyone really wants now is... oil.
We also get a new sidekick for Namor and her backstory is a mess.
This is just nonsense from start to finish.

2/10

Not sure what to think about 'Nita. Seems kinda gimmicky to me.

  Few inconsistencies in Namorita's story.
Byrrah changes his appearance again - radioactive oil can do that to ya.
I'm not 100% sure if Namor got his memory back or not. Not that it changes anything, apparently.
Also there's a lot talking about cousin-marriage going on - I guess it's ok if it's underwater.

I liked this arc overall, but this wasn't a great issue. Namor's memory loss seems to come and go depending on what's convenient for the plot. I like the addition of Namorita. Hopefully the romantic angle is forgotten soon.

This was, if anything a bigger mess than last issue. Also, Namor, careful dude. I know you are trying to save Namorita, but shoving her face in oil, and then just plain shoving her in the face to get her out of the line of fire is too much.

I love Everett's art in this one.

I'm really tired of Namor losing and regaining memory all the time. I mean, that just CANNOT be good for the brain.

This gets an extra star for Namor repeatedly pushing Nita away by the face...

Pretty good arc except for the fact that the Atlantean rulers think that 2nd cousins are marriage material... Gross...

Guys, royalty marrying cousins is simply how it's done. I'm pretty sure Dorma was his cousin too.
WULMFF: Apparently the sound a young girl's face makes when you slam it into the ocean floor.

Aren't Blackbolt and Medusa cousins too? Royal families in marvel all about that cousin love.

2 stars for the attack of the "B" Listers! Byrrah & the Badoon!!!

Cover Me - Who are the other bad guys on the cover?? They're not Badoon, nor Crab Men!!!

Itsy Bitsy - Namorita's bikini is now it's famous green color!!

Rageaholic - John Byrne's Namor series in the 90's explains why Namor is so susceptible to getting amnesia, and his frequent mood swings!!

Whitewash - @sewixo: I agree about the plot inconsistencies. Everett completely changes Llyras timeline with the Lemurians! Forgetting all about Naga and Karthon!!!

'Nuff Said - "We must not delay! The crabs are aroused!"-Naughty Namor

How many half Atlanteans are there? I had kind of thought that Namor was the only one, but it would seem not.

Personally, I hate that Byrne created a reason for his mood swings. Why can't he just be an asshole?

Now serving: steamed crab, and the Chicken of the Sea himself, Byrrah!

I'm not a real fan of Namor's constant bouts with amnesia either. As of this writing, I haven't read John Byrne's take on it, but in a way I'm glad he addressed it. As for me, I always figured the main reason Namor's so susceptible to it was because, well, goldfish DO have only a five-second memory span.

And yeah, Namorita (Bill and Mike) did leave out some important information concerning Naga and Karthon. Odd that the comic historian in Roy let that one slide by.

3 stars. Still a pretty good arc overall, in spite of the errors. And as far as the marrying cousins issue goes, it could be much worse: we all also know that many species of fish EAT each other, too!
