A fun and action-packed story.

To buy into it, you have to accept two things. First, the idea that the Hulk would be influenced by Banner's memories to such a large and specific degree (going to the Pym lab and finding the exact vial). Second, the coincidence of the Hulk arriving while a thief is also there.

If you can accept those, then there's pleasure to be had in watching a doll-sized Hulk smashing his way through some Hydra goons.

Along with a good story, we get the start of Marvel's latest attempt to do a decent Ant-Man.

So, if I understand correctly, Rats > Hydra guards.

That would explain a lot, actually.

This comic is a bucketload of fun. The art has its ups and downs, but nothing exceptionally stellar. The story has been done before-ish, but nevermind that...it is a recipe for success, IMO. The script could have included more humor, but it isn't a cringeworthy vocabulary test, either. Mainly, the consideration of long game plot serial continuity is nicely respected. Again, I really enjoyed this book.(4)

Not as good as the last few issues, but good nonetheless. It's a fun read, without the annoyances of the bad hulk runs of past.

That one was fun, but they could have included Wasp somehow. She didn't have her costume? Well neither did Hank until he shrank. And they're in the middle of no-where, does he carry around his flying ant in his pocket or something?
There were a lot of cases as well that Ant-Man was doing stuff with his strength that made no sense, because it was actually the power of the ant that's being used. Is he super strong now too?

3 stars for Ant-Man saving the day!!!

Cover Me - Did you notice the name on the matchbook??

Location - Did Pym move his lab from the New Jersey Palisades to Long Island??

No Prize - For the flashback, they colored Jarella wrong!!

Revenue - I wonder if Cleeno is a subsidiary of Hydra??

Ant Abs - @duncanm: Ant-Man should have the strength of a man while in ant size, but it was inconsistent throughout Tales to Astonish!!

'Nuff Said - "In fact...I could use his good green hand on this...tap...!"-Ant-Man

Good work Hydra, there's definitely no better way to spread a biological weapon than by rat.

HYDRA smartens up and joins the rat race. But there was no need to contaminate those rats with virus nine; we're all sick of rats already!

Fun story though. I liked seeing the Chameleon again; he's actually a good foil for the Hulk as an opponent since his disguises confuse him easily. But if he shrinks down to Jarella's world next issue, I'm calling shenanigans. The world is supposed to be in his pants (issue #140), yet the Hulk had first shrunk down into the floor of Psyklop's lair (Avengers #88), now the world is in the floor of a HYDRA base? I'd say, keep his quest to find her going. It's fun to see him raise hell on other micro-verse worlds!

3 stars. Continuity hiccup aside (wasn't the Hulk crushed by a wall at the end of last issue?) this arc is quite a fun read.

Good story, but they didn't explain the body under the wall at the end of last issue. I guess we just imagine it wasn't that bad and Hulk got out fine, contrary to the wording from the last book.

Was slightly unbelievable that The Hulk would know where Pym lived or where his lab was. Besides a high tech lab in the middle of what they said was a residential area?? Other then the couple obvious holes, was a good story with decent character development.

Art was superb, especially the rats. The only piece I didn't care for was how the Chameleon was drawn after the removal of his disguise. He looked almost robotic without a flesh mask on. He would have to have an incredibly small head to fit inside the shell he wears around his own head, that he then puts on a disguise on over it, which needs to look like a variety of people and their various sized heads. Also, someone messed up with the woman behind Bruce in the flashback, don't think they realized it was supposed to be Jarella and have green hued skin.

Dialog was well written and consistent with the characters.

I want to make the joke: "What the Very Tiny Hulk did I just read?", but I know what I read: an AWESOME Hulk story.

Granted, it was weapons-grade silliness, but seeing Hell, I mean, Very Tiny Hulk come roaring out of Chameleon's hand was awesome.

Also, from a character development standpoint, Betty's departure is probably the most sensible thing that anyone has done in the entire order so far, so kudos to that.
