Wow, this is a great comic.
Absolutely jam-packed with story.
A story that moves fast and always engages and delights. It should have run for three issues, at least, but so much happens that it feels as if it did.
10/10

Well that was all kinds of awful. I really dislike Bruce-Hulk.

That was an enjoyable fantasy. It almost makes you wish for a Hulk the Barbarian series. I guess we get close when Planet Hulk comes around.

JSeverin must be on holiday; I never presumed Him to be missed, but he is here. It's like a blast back to early Mikey DeMeo; not too pretty. There are some nice panels, but not many. The main problem here is the story. It's just way too convenient for Hulk to find this needle in millions of haystacks after a few very good comics. I would have liked to have seen the search go on longer, maybe including a bit more clever storytelling. Script has our anti-hero in a mental situation which the writers aren't quite sure how to handle, so Hulk's lines are fairly awkward.(2)

You'd think a scientist... An educated man's inner dialogue would know the difference between "your" and you're"

He was a scientist, not a linguist!
I thought the story was pretty good overall...but the problem for us reading it now, and I would imagine even reading it back then, is that we know that Hulk is going to come back to the regular world. Because of this rather than getting wrapped up in the narrative or emotions, we're just waiting around for that something to happen that sends him back.

I wish Hulk could stay in this world. Either Banner-Hulk or regular Hulk, both work here and they are fun.

This world more interesting then going back to Earth and having him constantly running from the Army. I guess the Defenders need him.

Aw... I quite like Jarella and Banner together. And it seems Betty has finally moved on.

3 stars for Banner facing his greatest fear; that the local PX is all out of purple pants!!!

Mawage - I like that the priests' religious book has a picture of the atom on it!!!

Piggyback - Cool scene of the Hulk leading the charge of the Warthos!!!

Despicable - Man, Visis is one cold hearted bastard!!!

Wreckin' Ball - Great image of Hulk destroying Visis' castle!!!

Step Off - I wonder how much damage the Hulk did to Jarella's world when he was leaving???

'Nuff Said - "...Hulk is starting to--GROW!"-Shucking Hulkster

Herb Trimpe can be ruined by a bad inker more than artist in the order

There is a long running trope of Hulk finding a world somewhere and falling in love. The crossroads, Planet Hulk, any others?

The Hulk-Jarella stories on her homeworld are fun. It's really a shame they didn't do more of these over the years. But it does seem like these stories were an early dry run for Planet Hulk.

Warthos are fun animals! Part pig and part dog; I think I've had ex-girlfriends refer to me that way. If the Hulk ever stays on Kai but abdicates, he can run a dog pound. "How much is that Warthos in the window....?"

3 stars. I know the Hulk gets angry a lot, but this is probably the first time I've ever seen him really beside himself!

I really wish they would let him hang around on Jarella's world for a bit longer, it's so much more interesting than earth and opens up some actual character development opportunities. But no. Sigh.
