Not enjoyable. Itís a flashback/reprint issue. Has nothing to do with the ongoing story. Instead it retells a weak origin story which is dumb and somewhat disturbing. 2/10

Deadline problems this month? Amazing how much text was on the page in those early issues. I couldn't bring myself to reread all that weak sauce.

I know recaps are importatn but why must they reecycle the art at list give it a boost

  TL;DR

Well, the first and last pages. That's about it.

The framing sequence was decent. Too bad there was so little of it.

Jan's sporting some serious booty there.

Thanks for reminding me how much I hated Ant-Man.

I can't believe Antman defeated a villain with a shotgun. Normal sized people can do that, too!

So what, they run out of ideas 4 issues into Ant-Man's new series? Never a good sign. All this did was remind me how bad the story was, and that as now, Jan was always a moron, and Hank was always a jerk to her.
I think it may actually make me be more kind to the current bad stories in the order... at least they weren't this bad.

This took me four days to read, and I really didn't appreciate this unwelcome trip down memory lane.

Just 1 star for the retelling of the Wondrous Wasp!

Cover Me - I don't remember ants having fur?

'Nuff Said - "And Marvel doesn't cop out--"-Marvel copping out...

This had "deadline filler" written all over it, especially if it used the same artwork from Tales to Astonish #44. Jan isn't that bad a character, but I'd forgotten how awful her origin was.

1 star. Remove all her insect-like appendages while still attacking Hank? Now THAT'S a story I'd like to read!

Yeah, let's recap how Hank did genetic experiments on a girl he hardly knew, who I think was supposed to be about 18 at the time.

"Jan supported me with all my fiercest foes - Eggman (lol), Whirlwind (...), and... that robot from last edition I guess.."

Dude, did you run out of villains? Is Eggman seriously the A-list of your rogues' gallery? I'm actually ok with Eggman, but come on.
