Second issue is story-driven. There's a couple of action scenes, but - mostly - this issue tells a case-of-the-week story and fills in a bit more of the status quo for the series. 7/10

So far this series has lasted two issues too long...

Wow, the dialog in this is utterly terrible.

"There's no fire like gun-fire!" Wow.

Also, she talks about how her costume got messed up so she's only taking the claws and helmet with her - then she gets changed into her exact costume and says "Lucky I was wearing this body stocking!" A body stocking which apparently looks exactly like her costume, including the black underwear thing on the outside. Why even put that in? Why!? A much simpler solution would be just have her bring the whole damn costume. Aaaaargh!

Bad enough I have to see crappy Daredevil villain's in Daredevil without farming them out.

Half of this issue was a retelling of issue #1... And this is issue #2!

C'mon guys, it wasn't that bad. The Owl just invented the Internet and the Matrix in 21 pages ;-)

Why in the hell would Owl let Greer keep her bag when she was locked up? He should have at least checked inside it!

And worse - why would Greer consider even for a second NOT putting the entire costume on?!

2 stars for the Cat and the Owl fighting over the same mouse!!!

Court Of Owls - I do like the Owls minions with their own gliding capes!!

Filler - @AmazingGatorMan: Yeah using 5 pages to recap is usually not a good sign!!!

Give A Hoot - Why attack the hospital when your own man kidnaps Dr. Tumolo instead??!!!

Purrfect - @Kez: I dunno, I liked the idea of Cat pulling the fire alarm because of gunfire!!

'Nuff Said - "Going down, sir?"-The Cat, and love in a elevator

This issue was indeed a little hard to read. So far the premise behind this series isn't bad at all; Linda Fite has some decent ideas and this was one of the Owl's better appearances in the Order so far. And having Marie Severin and Jim Mooney doing the visuals; they're providing more than ample support for Linda with some great visuals. But as others have said, the dialog is cringe-worthy in places and the pacing was way off. Spending five pages on a recap of the previous issue didn't help matters either.

2 stars. Still an interesting narrative and I know the character's history gets turned around later. I think it's worth giving a chance for that reason.

I actually enjoyed this more than I expected. I like Greer so far though, so I think I might be a little more forgiving than I would be otherwise.

I love the Owl so it was grear to see him pop up here. I'd have given this a 4 were it not for the pages dedicated to retelling The Cat 1, for like no reason.

The only reason they chose the Owl for this was so they could do the title though (although it works way better than like "AND HE CAN CRUSH THE WORLD" or "YOUR YOUNG MEN SHALL KILL VISIONS" style pretentious nonsense).
