Lame villains and... Um, not much else, really. There's a bit of action. But it's all fairly pointless.

Ivan's been missing in action for a few issues now. Series kinda works better without him. 3/10

It was quick, and I liked the art enough to give this 3 stars.

And who knew, the way you defeat a god-like being is by reminding them that they used to not be a god-like being. And now we know.
Widow wasn't just a cameo this time...but she may have been better off as such, as she just came off as weak.
Did the Messiah run to the salon to get a dye job between issues?

It's not like there was any other way for DD to beat a being with God-level powers. At least it was previously set up and wasn't just pulled out of nowhere. Conway and Gerber were always going to end it like that, so they didn't cop out.

2 stars for the Dark Messiah being called back home!!!

Cover Me - Not a bad cover, but I wished they would've had the other two Disciples as well!!

Wardrobe Malfunction - @duncanm: Unfortunately, they changed his hair and costume to match the cover of DD #97!!

Rear Admiral - It would've been better if the lesson that the Dark Messiah taught DD was the dreaded atomic wedgie!!!

Name Game - I asked in an earlier issue where Broderick comes from when it should be Roderick...now I know!

Blue Angel - Natasha's lookin' good in her long blue gown!!!

Flesh Wound - @duncanm: What do you expect out of Natasha, she's just a woman! Her wounds don't heal as fast as manly Daredevil...

Stop Short - @MattzLadd: I wouldn't call it a cop out. I feel it would've been better as a 3-parter with more time to flesh out Dark Messiah and his Disciples!!

'Nuff Said - "As usual, any resemblance between what just occurred and logic--is purely coincidental!"-Daredevil, who sums up his series perfectly...

Well, it was going to be trickery of some sort for a sorely under-powered Daredevil to get out of this one. Although it was planned that Dark Messiah was going to wig out, what if it hadn't worked?

I'm almost tempted to buy @Locust75's explanation about Natasha and her injuries. Or at least, it's what Marvel was thinking even if they wouldn't come out an admit it. Marvel has really treated her badly since the start of her Amazing Adventures run, and it seems like the billing she has in this book is more cosmetic than anything.

2 stars. The arc might've been more entertaining if Uriah the illusionist had made Daredevil meet Mike Murdoch!

It kind of bugged me throughout that they talked of Daredevil as the servant of Satan, implying that Mordecai was against Satan, but then he was calling himself the Dark Messiah. Why dark if you think you're the good guy? Did he think he was the good guy? Who knows, actually.

I feel like I missed something. Who remade Morducai into the messiah? What was the end game? How was it done?
Just some stranger in a hospital closet? That's all we get?!
