Action-filled and satisfying conclusion to the Man-Wolf two-parter.
There's a great MJ scene where she calls him out on his pity-trip.
And we get the backstory/origin of Man-Wolf.
Nice deductive reasoning from Spidey, too, to figure out who the werewolf really is.

8/10

  Spider-man is really depressing lately.

So this is the issue where we start seeing the reason for why MJ acts as she does, very interesting.

I never realized how much of a little self-centered prick Flash is.

Why does Marvel have such a problem with the moon cycle? According to last issue the crossover with Werewolf by Night took place a week ago. So how were there full moons a week apart?
Other than that though, was a solid couple of issues. Always nice when they somewhat humanize JJJ and make him face up to his shortcomings.

MJ is really being developed quite nicely now. Some very strong scenes for her.

I like the attempt to develop JJJ's dislike of Spider-Man, but it doesn't really make sense. If his problem is that Spidey gets too much attention, the guy's a newspaper publisher! Just write about something else!

Was it just me or did it seem like JJJ was in 2 places at once? He's at John's apartment getting the back story, then at the Bugle, and then back at John's apartment again. Did he really leave John just to go to work and spring a trap on Spider-man? That's a big stretch, considering he had no way of knowing that Spider-man was actually going to show up at the Bugle that day.

This is the oldest comic that I read when I was a teenager in the 80s (a reprint or something).

  - Why does everyone spontaneously start calling a werewolf "Man Wolf" ?

- Did JJJ just gas himself and Joe? Also, did Spidey just call Joe boy?

- I don't really like Conway but these two issues had some of his best dialogue

Next issue... Kangaroo. Oh, my, gosh, I'm, so, excited. Nope.

Great wrap-up to this arc. The world of the Amazing Spider-Man is a really dark place right now, which helps shake up the characters and the pacing. And the opponents Spidey is facing right now have amped up their game, too.

I like that we're delving deeper into the character of Mary Jane and getting hints at what's really driving her. However, last issue she's ripping Peter a new one for constantly being alone, then rips him a new one this issue for visit her. As for who she's really with, how many people remember she broke up with Harry back in issue #97? A lot of things have happened since then and even though she's still heavily flawed, she's still dealing just like everyone else. Flash? He's always been a jerk!

I'd also like to think the incident with John Jameson will change the dynamic between Spidey and JJJ. But....it probably won't. JJJ is too ego-centric and OCD to acknowledge that Spidey helped him in a big way.

4 stars. Man, John's neck is gonna have a massive welt when he wakes up in the morning!

This pendant that I presume is responsible for me becoming a werewolf is stuck to my skin. Oh well, guess I'll just have to live with being a ruthless killer every month.
Wait, what? Couldn't you just go see a doctor and have it removed?
No no, can't do that. It's killer or nothing.

3 stars for the Man-Wolf mooning Spidey!!!

Hairy Situation - Since Spidey got scratched by the Man-Wolf, I wonder if he'll turn into a wolf spider?!!

No Prize - The pendant changed shape from last issue!!!

Supersuit - Last issue I thought John was using a cutoff version of his suit from an previous Spider-Man issue. But this issue shows he's using a new suit.

Hit The Jackpot - I was hoping MJ would've slipped into a little something more comfortable...

Looney For Luna - I'm surprised Spidey didn't have flashbacks of Gwen after seeing Kristine! I think any man would turn into a wolf around her!!!

Daddy Issues - This is the second time for Kristine to meet Jonah, and she's already calling him Papa Jonah??!!

'Nuff Said - "I didn't make the name Jonah Jameson a household word in this city by ignoring facts--"-JJJ
