Nifty ending to the Yellow Claw storyline.

Steve Englehart finds a clever way to derail the plot at the very end.

Very satisfying. 9/10

Just call him "Claw", lose the lemon skin coloring. Other than that, I enjoyed this one a lot.

I thought the ending was good. Damn good.

SHIELD needs to work on the quality of those background checks. And maybe pay attention to people that are there visiting instead of letting them wander.
I kinda wish we had seen some Leila/Peggy scenes, as they would have been wonderful playing off each other.
Any reason that Cap can't crash at Avengers Mansion like he did for years before?

This was a fun pulp inspired story.

I didn't like this one. Heroes were easily defeated and only reason bad guys didn't win is because of betrayal and then vengeance. Seems our heroes were just along for the ride. Not to mention taking breaks to visit girlfriends while the big bad is on the loose.

I was hoping they killed off Yellow Claw there for a moment. At least this rubbish story arc is over with.

Actually, I was a little surprised, pleasantly, by the ending. I'd suspected Suwan would make her own play, but thought it was cool she actually did it. Moral of the story: never make your cohort as megalomaniacal as you.

Val's over-protectiveness of Nick is surprising me, too. Everyone knows Cap was duped into injuring him, but Val's going to lengths to keep the two separated. I think Val's picked up that Nick harbors more resentment toward Cap than he's letting on. This may be a plot point to watch for going forward.

It didn't look as though Sharon was really moving out of her apartment in issue #160, but I went back to re-read that last page. She did tell Cap he'd never see her again in a note taped to the door. Since she still had that apartment and her stuff was likely still there, I guess she has a nicer landlord than Steve had in Cal Trimble!

3 stars. Ended up being a better arc than I thought it would be, but I'm also glad it's done.

3 stars for Yellow Claw teaching Yankee Dogs new tricks!!!

Lost In Translation - @leisch: Unfortunately, Yellow Claw's name wont be changed until Agent of Atlas!!

Take Out - And where was Jimmy Woo during all of this??

The Colonel - You know for a guy who likes giant monsters, and his name/symbol being a chicken foot...you'd think he would have giant chickens running around!!!

My Gal Val - Well Val, does a good job against the cross-dressing assassin, but still is a stage 5 clinger over Fury!!!

Mousetrap - You can tell that Yellow Claw is old school; putting the heroes in deathtrap and then walking away!!!

Overload - Anybody else feel that Peggy being stuck with Leila will make her lose her mind again??!!!

Vapors - I think Yellow Claw would need more gas to fill the Helicarrier than just one little gas gun!!!

'Nuff Said - "NURSES DON'T WEAR BLACK SHOES!"-Vicious Val

What's the bet that Suwan betrays the Claw? Oh look, called it.
Also, writing the Claw just then, I said it in my head like the aliens from Toy Story and that makes him much less threatening.
