Yeah, I'm not going to forgive you guys for making Baron Samedi a villain, and making his zombies NOT actually zombies.

I was wondering when they were going to close that big flashback. It's a shame it was so poorly recuperated.

Horribly executed. Horribly created character. Horribly copied powers. Just horrible.

Well that just didn't make ANY sense. If their minds got wiped, why would destroying some machine make that reverse? If they were really living people that were mind wiped, then how do they explain the guy's cousin that drowned being one of them? Plus when they first attack BroVoo they're clawing out of graves! Why couldn't his brother take over any of their bodies? And why would that hurt him? How does nobody notice all of these people going missing? WHY MARVEL? WHY?!

Ah the famous "zuvembies". The fact that there's letters and a bulletin blurb mentioning Tales of the Zombie by name in this issue really highlights how silly the CCA was. You really gotta appreciate the rules lawyering of the whole thing though.

Third outing and nothing special about this story. It didn't give much of a hint of what Brother Voodoo can really do, other than the botched attempt at possession. All we really saw was a villain controlling a group of guys who probably just hadn't had any coffee that morning.

So who did control those guys coming out of the graves? That's creepy, but it didn't fit into the story at all.

1 star. I'm starting to feel like a zuvembie myself after reading that story; I feel lobotomized.

Did they get halfway through writing the story for this one and then get subjected to the brain drain gizmo? That made no sense!

Just 1 star. I'd rather watch Baron Samedi from James Bond doing 7UP commercials!!!
