I don't know if it's because I have a recolored version, but bright colors don't fit at all with DD's style.

Black Widow in the screaming damsel n distress mode is just insulting.

Kraven makes a great antagonist for DD-the ultimate hunter tracking a man with heightened senses.

Pretty good battle, DD has improved a lot over the years.

I swear Widow used to actually be competent. Thankfully it seems she'll be gone from this book soon.
"You know I can't tell what your dress looks like Natasha! Now let me get back to reading." WTF
Did they accidentally switch Ivan's character model for Doc Strange this issue?

Widow's ballet poses and saucy cocktail party repartee make this one a keeper. Please remove elephant peril and replace with more law practice troubles, obnoxious party guests, and Widow and DD playing house.

Still not a fan of Heck's art these days, but Gerber and Heck do a great job of showing the action, not telling it in dialogue and such. Maybe we're getting to the end of the "write out a description for every panel?"

Everybody should know DD's secret identity by now! How could it be secret when Matt always appears in the same place (in SF for instance) and Matt i living with BW (on separate floors - okaaay!) and DD and BW always appears together. Marvel must think people are dumb. Couldn't at least make an effort to explain this... Otherwise this issue was pretty good and there is only thirty something issues until Frank Miller...

This was a pretty cool battle; Daredevil and Kraven seem to match up well against each other. I also enjoyed Natasha's banter with the cocktail party ladies; I got a chuckle out of her comment about the separate floor bedrooms in her mansion. It probably made those ladies wonder if she was just messing with them! The book still has a very long way to go, but it is overall improved from the earlier New York days.

I still dislike the Black Widow's constant "damsel in distress" mode; I thought she was an equal partner in this book now. Clearly, they just don't know how to use her, or are afraid to bring her out as a strong female hero. Maybe the 70s just weren't ready to have a female in that role just yet. Hence, her "partner who always needs saving" bit.

3 stars. The sub-plots running through here at least keep the book somewhat interesting, but again, it's still awhile before it finds its niche.

My version was missing a page which, in other books, would really bother me that I was missing something. In this one, pretty sure it was just something about the court case. I think I'll live without that page.

3 stars for what pretty much everyone has already.

Cover Me - I know people have said it before, but Kraven really looks J Jonah Jameson on the cover!!!

Credit Due - I feel Don Heck's style is perfect for Daredevil!
