A slugfest issue. Location and stakes give it a real sense of adventure on a large scale. 6/10

The Tales of Atlantis are way better than the main story in this. And since when is Namor "Savage"? That word is way overused in comics.

Tales of Atlantis are definitely the best part of the last few issues. I keep expecting Namor to pull a X-Men before its conclusion, but I'm starting to realize it's not gonna happen.

The main story is average at best. Was hoping for more...

Is anyone else reminded of the earlier Journey into Mystery mags? Main character is going to other realms to take on tyrants, while a subsequent story is giving us the earlier history of his kingdom.
Seems somewhat convenient that the villain is able to beat down Namor. Sure she's a biggish monster, but this guy goes toe to toe with Thor and the Hulk.

That was pretty bad, and while the cover she-devil isbhokey, it still looks better than the one inside the comic. Nothing crestive, subversive, or interesting in this issue.

Maybe Namor was holding back in the fight due to the fact that Virago is female, but I have a hard time believing she could curb-stomp him that easily. Overall it wasn't horrible, but again, it doesn't really cover any new ground.

2 stars. Another Marvel title of the time in a holding pattern.

I really disliked the art in this one. Gotta agree that the side story is a lot more interesting...

I didn't mind this one too much. She's an alien, why not? Although I could not care less about who the other four guys are and which is which.

Virago to She-Beast is pretty much a metaphor to the beginning and ending of marriage!

  Gotta admire Namors chivalry.
I won't raise my hand against a woman. Oh wait she's ugly now. Let's do this.
