#105 is a cut-and-paste job that shouldn't work, but does.

The battle with Kraven the Hunter is finished (quickly) and Daredevil meets Moondragon, hears her origin (which takes up several pages) and learns how Thanos has been her motivation for recent activities in the series. Sounds like a mess. But it's not. 8/10

Pretty crappy art here. It seems rushed and sloppy.

So it turns out that Madame McEvil is not actually evil?
Well, I'll be damned..! (I guess they realised that that name was just plain idiotic.)

The Moondragon part was pretty good. Everything else was pretty bad.

If you have to explain that your last panel has a good explanation then you have failed in your storytelling.

If your greatest achievement is the creation of those three mopes, you're not much of a threat. Throw in another Scooby reveal that turns out to be the only suspect offered and you've got the kind of story I thought died with the Torch solos.

I gave it 4 stars with the way they're intertwining the Thanos War arc.

An extra star for Thanos, but I think this is going to be retconned. I don't think it works out if Moon Dragon and Thanos were kids at the same time.

So what was the point of the Kraven story last issue? It's like they got bored of him and decided to have another story instead.
If Moondragon (definite name upgrade) has the power to read minds, you'd think she would verify what her "ally" was actually telling her the truth before deciding to destroy a city.
I love the orderly telling Ramrod that he can't escape because he's in a coma.

Jim Starlin saved this issue. Also, Daredevil is really not a natural fit with all this scifi Thanos War stuff, but I still enjoy the crossover.

It's a real attempt to salvage some of the awful that is DD in SF, but when what you have to work with is that awful, you can only go so far. It does seem like the Thanos storyline was selling well so hey switches the DD arc midstream to integrate it.
It's telling that this sort of rework/recon can happen with Cap successfully. I don't think there's enough quality material for anyone to do the same with DD at this point in the order.

I think this issue should be part of the Thanos War story arc numbering. Moondragon gets to play a big role in the next issues of that arc, and reading this is a must to fully get her involvement.

  - That is a line-up worthy of Human Torch, sad & ineffectual. But, it is Gerber and this kind of thing is his wheelhouse. But, Don Heck keeps getting worse. I'm conflicted.

- I hate having my "meditation" interrupted too

- Didn't attain the sublime absurdity that Gerber weirdly succeeds at, but wasn't terrible either

- Now Playing "Rings of Saturn" Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

Intriguing story, I'll give it that much. I also liked the transition from MacEvil to Moondragon, but I had no idea she first got the name in a Daredevil mag. Whoa. But this cosmic stuff just doesn't work in Daredevil's mag, even with Jim Starlin on board to do it. And Broderick's involvement in the Thanos War just stretches credibility to the breaking point. I'm sorry, but....no.

If anything, it does give a higher purpose to those freaky villains like Angar and Ramrod. But heck, if I were a D-list villain in an early Daredevil mag, I'd be a screamer too. In frustration.

3 stars, mainly for the interlude and Moondragon's backstory. But it would've made more sense to have that part in Iron Man's mag and have the likes of Angar and Mordecai as part of a wanna-be crime cartel. Just an opinion.

Why give me Moondragon's really cool backstory and make me think she's going to be a much better character than when her name was Madame MacEvil, only to ruin it about 2 pages later when the men decide to do something? Seriously, DD just grabs her and shakes her and she doesn't do anything beyond telling him to let go of her. What happened to all that greatest female athlete on Titan stuff they just told me about?????

To me, the whole issue is a mess. I mean it's great to see Moondragon rise, but it's rushed being mixed with DD's B-Listers.

Cover Me - Wow, almost everyone's costume is colored wrong!

Did the Eternals clip Moondragon's ears??? Although, great image of Moondragon falling down!!! (p9,p5)
