Solid mix of soap (the love-triangle between DD, Black Widow and Moondragon) and an above-average case-of-the-week (where Foggy Nelson is shot). 9/10

Actually enjoying Daredevil at the minute. Not fantastic, but not bad at all.

This was fairly good but I feel the Beetle should have been killed off a long time ago. He was born into the Marvel universe at a time when fakeness was fairly out of control. Comics before '65-'66 often commonly had really fake elements, which were slowly phased out of Marvel for the most part in the mid '60s (not sure about DC). The fake factor about the Beetle is his ability to fly with heavy steel wings, which has never been adequately explained.

I'm glad the a Widow is about done. DD didn't do her justice at all...

The whole DD/BW/MD thing made no sense to me. First off, Widow was the one that always kept Matt at arm's length and never wanted to define their relationship, but as soon as another woman comes onto the scene she's demanding declarations of love? Just another way this title has turned her into a weak, weak character. And also Matt and Moondragon felt so very forced, as it was obviously just a method of breaking up Tasha and Matt.
The whole pacing of the story was just completely off. First it jumps months ahead of the last issue and makes it clear that we missed a lot, then everything happens at once and Daredevil's San Francisco adventure is no more.

The end of SF DD? If true, that gets a bonus star. But I actually liked this issue, despite its flaws.

  - Black Widow gets demoted from the masthead
- Bob Brown is as bland as his name but the second page somersault by Nat is kind of cool
- Not great Gerber, he got DD back to NY though

The whole Daredevil and Black Widow in San Francisco thing was pretty good and marked a fresh start when it happened awhile ago, but it was sure run into the ground when the plots didn't improve much and Widow was depicted as a scared little mouse who was in the partnership just to have a boyfriend, and couldn't fight to save her life. Splitting up will be the best thing that happened to both characters, and I hope Widow sticks to her guns here.

The Beetle is quite ridiculous, with a costume that by rights defies every obvious law in physics. It didn't surprise me that he didn't last long in the fight with Daredevil.

3 stars. Am I crazy, or am I the only one that thought it was cool that Natasha opened up a can of whoop-a$$ on that one thug?

Good thing DD and Widow weren't officially together, otherwise he would have been as blacklisted as Pym for hitting her like that. Although I can't say I blame Natasha for snapping, she's apparently been living with Matt flirting with another woman for the past 2 months, and last time there was another woman in the picture, it was about a minute before he was making out with her in front of Natasha.

I too enjoyed seeing some hints of the Black Widow we know and love. Unfortunately Gerber immediately shat all over it.

2 stars. I'm surprised DD didn't automatically fall in love with Candace and push Moondragon off to the side!

No wonder DD had to knock Black Widow around...she's starting to look like Peg Bundy!!!

No Prize - Lucretia Jones went back to being white!!!

Man, Deb Harris has not aged well. Well it took 108 issues, but we finally meet Foggy's family...
