Wasp now has the power to…blow? Haha Hope she never forgets and moves her fingers on accident.
Spider-Man would wipe the floor with Giant Man.
What I learned:
Spider-sense gets smaller if the danger is the size of an insect.
Wasp: “Why do I STILL feel so hostile towards Spider-Man?? I guess it’s because wasps and spiders are such natural enemies!”
Spider-Man: “Keep the Wasp away from me…She makes me see Red!”
Giant Man: “Honey, you heard the man! He can’t help it…It’s his natural instinct!”
Gimme a break Stan. This is ridiculous, even for you.
“female hulk….” Foreshadowing! |

As much as I didn't like Egghead, it was an enjoyable story. The second one was funny, but it definitely felt like it came out of a 60s cartoon rather than a Marvel comic! |

I guess this is the first time Spider-man and Ant Man meet? Looked like Spider-man was dominating the fight. |

Egghead's evil plan to put a profitable character on the cover of Tales to Astonish was a success.
I kind of liked the antagonism between Spidey and Waspy. They both got their powers via the DNA of their respective namesakes, after all.
That being said, this was a pretty lame story followed by a really lame story. |

Egghead could have told the ants that Spider-Man robbed a bank or something, instead of the horribly dumb "Boo, Spider-Man coming to get you" line. And the Wasp vs. Spider lines were completely lame. |

Wow, did you know that spiders and wasps are natural enemies? I didn't know that spiders and wasps are natural enemies. I'm glad Stan reminded us three or four times in two pages that spiders and wasps are natural enemies, or I would have forgotten.
I liked this issue. As lame as he is, I like Egghead as a villain. That Wasp story at the end was good up until the last two panels. Henry's a real prick. |

Since I'm reading only spidey's books at the moment, this was my first experience with giant/ant man and wasp. I'm not really digging either of them so far and egghead is just plain lame. |

So Giant-man's big hoop can now take him several blocks? It's an interesting callback to the early Ant-man stories and his pneumatic launching device, but I find the character confusing. He's "Giant-Man" but can also be "Ant-Man" when the situation demands? I liked him better in his mandible helmet when he was commanding swarms of ants. The giant thing is just dumb. |

The issue I saw the cover and was so hopeful for Spider-Man to destroy Giant Man, but alas just more issues I have to read with this horrible character.
Getting this far in the order and I thought I would have hit one enjoyable Ant-Man / Giant Man issue but this one isn't it. |

Spidey could definitely take this B rated superhero.
Natural enemies? News flash Jan, you aren't a real wasp. |

It was a solid 3 star book, one of the better giant mans, then this ridiculous 'spiders and wasps are natal enemies' gets repeated over and over, seriously, what was the point? It was utterly ridiculous and really annoying. Not to mention completely unnecessary as jan has plenty enough reason to be annoyed seeing as how he webbed her. |
