2 stars for more green gamma ray goodness!!!

Cover Me - The Watcher looks a little...off, on the cover...

Touch Up - Bob Powell did a better job over Kirby's art. Although, he makes the Hulk look old!

Follow The Leader - The Leader beat Hubble by 25 years!! He also just one upped Mr. Fantastic on space travel!!!

Hobbies - So, I guess the Watcher collects.....crappy animals!!!

'Nuff Said - "Yeah? I'm from Missouri, Mister!"-Hulk

Somehow I missed this in my first read-through, but after the "Big Split" I've been skimming through these... so the Hulk's staggering strength is all because of the Leader's extra-mega gamma dosage, eh?

That's a pretty big deal, actually.

Okay, I understand that it's hard to write compelling plot with an illiterate Neanderthal as your main character, but smart Hulk is wearing on me. I'm not sure exactly what I expect from a Hulk comic, but I know I enjoyed this a hell of a lot more when it was a complete Jekyll/Hide contrast.

  • That's my line "I can jump higher than anybody... but planet hopping's a little out of my league!" (The Hulk)

  • I'm really happy with the decision to use Bob Powell's artwork. He's doing a much better job than Demeo.

  • Don't you just hate it when a villain goes all Magneto and saves your life just so you can be indebted to him? "Hey, it was your decision, pal! I never asked for it in the first place so you can't impose your conditions once the deed is done!"

  • The Leader's megalomania is only equal to his ugliness. "F*ck the Earth and Atlantis, I'm gonna get myself a galaxy!"

  • On page 5, it is physically impposible for the Hulk to pull that steel structure down unless his own weight were much greater or he had his feet locked down to the ground. Right now, this move could only result in a chin-up! Bad physics again!

  • Now I get it! The Watcher lives on the Jetsons' planet! I like that panel where he sits back with his paper and enjoys a nice Cosmartini! And his collection of goofy creatures is priceless!

  • So according to the Watcher, anyone who finds a way to his planet can just steal anything he wants and they'll just... stand and watch? It's amazing that the planet has not been conquered yet!

  • If the Leader can teleport the Hulk and back, why can't he just teleport that sphere?

  • Very corny Silver Age stuff, but I somehow enjoyed it, so 3 stars.

From the shape of the head of the Watcher I assume that they maybe wanted to draw the Leader there but settled to the Watcher after the layouting of said cover...

I really like the Watcher and his very flexible rule not to interfere...

Better than the last Issues but...How in the Universe could the Leader follow Uatu around the Universe, did he bug the Watcher or what...

Has the Watcher been watched ? And did the Watcher knew, he has been watched ....so he watched back also ?
So did The Watcher watch the Leader watching the Watcher ? (You're welcome)
