Great fun. Itís a bit simplistic, but itís also a big spy adventure. Completely over the top, but charming at the same time. 6/10

Going pretty heavy with the stereotypes for the assassins, weren't we? This issue was really awful.

This issue was bad on so many different levels. Hopefully, Ernie Hart won't be allowed near too many more scripts.

I enjoyed the issue. A cripple with an in curable disease being a genius was brilliant.

Not a big fan of this issue. The story was OK, but that's about it.

Sadly, there is no sign of Steranko. Springer's old-timey artwork continues. A one-shot story, a cliche one, but not an awful story, either. Word count is pretty high. The male chauvinist script is pretty hokey. The reveal has a nice little surprise, but it will likely be short lived. (1+)

This title seems to have no direction. There are no subplots weaving through the book which is strange when all the other books have subplots. The quality is so up add down. I wonder if it would have been better if it stayed at 11 page length. Would that have allowed Steranko to keep up?

Just 2 stars for the rise and fall of Supremus! Yet another one and done villain who had promise, but is taken away from us too soon...

Credit Due - It's been a while since we've seen Ernie Hart in the Order...and I think I know why!

Pane And No Gain - Funny scene of the assassins killing Faux Fury. Especially the one who breaks through the glass, and then fires his gun!!

My Bodyguard - I don't mind Stark being in the background helping out, but I kept expecting Iron Man to show up!

Glory Hog - The Sicilian assassin shoots Fury with Dum-Dum standing right behind him. Yet, it still takes Fury to jump up and get behind the assassin to take him out!!??

Precise - So, Fury's laser gun won't work in the invisible shield, but Half-Man's stun blaster will...

Vision Of Fatima - You can definitely tell who got the looks in the family!!

'Nuff Said - "I want action! FAST!!"-Furious Fury

Some of Steranko's influence is still there but fading fast unfortunately. Is this book just down hill from here? I liked the little guy being in the robot part though, didn't expect that.

I, for one, would like to learn more about those assassins. It's too bad they aren't ever mentioned again in the order.

I swear that was not sarcasm. Important characters in the criminal underworld should not be one and done.

You would think that as world class assassins, it wouldn't be in their best interest to look like such obvious stereotypes.

Call me crazy, but I kind of liked this one. Sure, it wasn't great, but it had its moments. I don't mind Springer's artwork, but the coloring seemed lazy in this issue.

I did like that we get to see Tony Stark being involved in SHIELD again. Usually they just namedrop him, so it was nice to actually see him in the mix.

I also liked the international flavor of the story. Yeah, yeah, I know... the stereotypes. They're bad, but probably not out of the ordinary for late-60's comic book-y stuff. But I thought it was a nice touch that they reminded us that SHIELD is involved in international security and espionage. I dunno... the scope just seemed larger this time.

Plus, Fury takes his shirt off. It's about time! For my 12 cents, I expect a bare-chested Fury in EVERY issue!

And Pierre St. Cyr? What's he going to do... MIME Fury to death?!? Sheesh.

  Russ Says:

This issue seemed to be a bit of a throwback to earlier Marvel. Bad Asian stereotypes (though a different part of Asia this time) and a cookie-cutter villain bent on world domination. I did like the reveal of Supremus, though....this was a guy who actually had some potential. Too bad he expired at the end of the story.

2 stars. Springer's art isn't enough to sustain this title, especially if the scripts don't improve.

That is the most annoying thing for me at this point in the order, I am totally with you there @phogbear! Since the first Issues of Nick's standalone mag, there have been only single-Issue stories thatt don't have any connections to each other. Not even a tiny subplot or better said sub-thread is weaved through the Issues and I don't count the Val mentionings as a sub-plot.

  On Precise:

From a technologic-fictional standpoint I would say. The Invisi-Shield is emitting on a special range of frequency that negates the power of Furys laser (Supremus must have somehow got a hold on the frequencies used by SHIELD). With that knowledge it is easy for him to tune the laser-gun outside of that said frequency for Half-Man!...Oh and Transistors and Magnets are involved too of course
