4 stars for the 1st app of Umar! I've always liked her, and she does get some good stories later on. Especially, with the Hulk decades later...

Make A Wish - I agree with others about Kaluu trying to blow out the candles is priceless!!!

One And The Same - So far, we've had Raggador, Raggedor, and now Raggadorr..

Bridges Of Babylon County - I'm not sure if we ever see that Griffin again, but Marduk will most certainly appear later on...

Senile - First the Ancient One says that the secret of the Book of Vishanti is not written on it's pages, but in the very next sentence he says that he learned of it after reading it's text!!??

Chicken Run - The last couple of issues Kaluu was shown to be very powerful, and having a shared past with the Ancient One. So, what does the Ancient One do? Hightails it back to Tibet leaving Dr. Strange to deal with it!!!

Punch Out - The Mindless Ones make everything better!!!

'Nuff Said - "Now, begone--back to your world of fierce silence!"-Umar

Okay, I'm pretty sure Umar is really just Namor in drag.

Otherwise, I dug that panel of Dr. Strange rematerializing in the candle flame on Pg6/P3, but that should have been a full splash page!

Also, the line about shaking him or enduring the worst on Pg5/P3 was a reference to Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar". Basically it means "we gotta get rid of him or things will get even worse." Do I get the No-Prize?

Don't you just love a 3 1/2 issue build-up for a fight that lasts maybe three pages. Oh well, must be the transition from Denny O'Neill to Roy Thomas in mid-arc.

Speaking of which, I thought O'Neill and Bill Everett made a decent team here. The artwork and general feel was equal parts cartoonish and spooky. Unfortunately, this issue felt too much like Roy just wrapping it up because he had his own ideas he wanted to implement right away. That gets this story knocked down a star.

@GroovyGolem: Consider thyself no-prized, but too bad I can't send you one!

For such a powerful foe, at least as praised in the last Issues, Kaluu's lights were snuffed out preeeetty easily. Gladly there is a direct follow-up in Evilness and Power with Umar... I already like her somehow

  Umar? Have you met Keanu?

A` tout a` l'heure Kaluu. Your presence is no longer required. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. The Clea teaser almost earns this one another star. Almost.
