Am I correct in thinking that's the first black person in the order? Or have I just not noticed before. |

There have been several anonymous black police officers prior to this issue, as recently as Amazing Spider-Man 27, and going back to 1962 I think (at least to 1963). The soldier that Captain America goes to Vietnam to rescue in ToS 61 was black.
Of course, the only recurring black character in Marvel at the time (not sure about DC) was Gabe Jones, who has been in every issue of Sgt Fury since number 1 in May 1963. He won't show up in the Order until next issue of Strange Tales, though. |

Dr. Strange's plan seemed too weak. All he ever does is mumble words and stuff happens, make himself astrally projected, or hypnotize people with the amulet. On occasion he'll even hug people with his cape. |

I like the James Bond-esque style of Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., but so far there's too much that's unexplained. For instance, how in the heck does HYDRA know about Fury? |

Strange Tales has gone from one of my least favorite series of the order to one of my favorites. I'm really liking both Fury and Strange. |
