Oh my gosh, this is bad. Story takes a nonsensical twist. Nick Fury is a jerk. And SHIELD is a very sinister organisation. 2/10

Wtf... The last few issues have been confusing but I gave them the benefit of the doubt ... But it looks like this is just a sloppy, convoluted arc. What a shame.

So Nick is nearly killed in his shower by a planned assassination, and he thinks nothing of it and moves on with his day rather than trying to find out who is trying to kill him?

At this point, they just stopped trying with that title.

For those who are confused, last issue was all a dream. After Fury killed the double agent and was arrested by Dugan, it would seem that he was put in some kind of hypnosis dream state for two weeks. For me it actually elevated the last issue a little but, but this issue itself was an unbearably stupid 1 star fiasco.
Fury doesn't notice that weeks have gone by without his notice? A half a month missing seems to be one of those things you'd notice.
SHIELD has the worst security in the world, since pretty much every single item that Nick owns was compromised by enemy agents.
The HYDRA undercover agent was hiding his full uniform and a rocket pack under a lab coat and nobody noticed?

I can think of a few words to describe this and the two previous issues, but most have four letters and none are polite. Can you give minus 5 stars?

Is Nick Fury about to shack up with a teenager?!

Weak story. This is one of the hardest titles to get through because I just can't stand Fury as a character.

The art is alright, good ol' Trimpe turning in Nick Fury in the Archies. We have spurts of zero backgrounds. Nothing special happening in the story, just mainly patronizing females. This is really just filler. Letters page condemning hippies is hilarious, I being somewhat "of that group". Other letters are pretty entertaining too. (2)

If they could examine his thoughts from the past, then surely they would know Rickard was in fact a Hydra agent. Mediocre arc.

1 star. In the words of AmazingGatorMan..."What the hell did I just read?!!". This title started going bi-monthly with issue 12, and they still couldn't flesh out a decent story arc in that time?!!!

Credit Due - It was Gary Friedrich who wrote this issue, not Mike.

Too Many Tentacles - So if Dr. Kraus is still carrying on Robert Rickards mission to frame Fury. Then why is the Hydra Leader ordering Number 72 to kill Fury!??

Black & White - Nice photo of the city below Fury's car! (p9,p1)

Smooth - I should've known that Fury is a Hai-Karate Man!!

Barber Pole - I haven't heard the term Swedish Barber Shop before. Is that where the hot towel comes from? Also, notice that Fury said he likes blonde barbers...

?Question? - Gabe calls Dr. Kraus, Dr. Sammartino! Is it a mistake, or am I missing something??

No Prize - Fury calls Dr. Kraus...Colonel...(p19,p2)

'Nuff Said - "Tricked 'im--into exposin' himself--"-Dirty Dum-Dum

The only thing I liked from this was the "Positively no smoking" sign. When a simple "no smoking" just doesn't cut it any more.

I think this arc folded up its tents and stopped trying as of this issue. Same for the entire series. Very disappointed in the ending after the buildup it got.

So, last issue was a dream? I'm still confused. How did Fury lose two weeks and not notice?

Val, Laura, Huff. Man every single girl falls for Fury immediately.

I'm saddened by these recent issues. I really enjoyed the earlier issues and these are just not up to snuff. I know the series is about to die. I just wish it could have happened a bit sooner.
