As hero vs hero battles go, this one is well set up and fun to watch. The real villains of the piece are fascinating. And they have an air of genuine menace. 7/10

This comic went very rapidly from bad, to BADASS.

This is the good stuff! Yes, 22 and 23 of this book were awful. Starlin made a huge difference! Can't wait to see more of Thanos (in comics and in movies).

The turnaround is almost there, if they could just pull the plug on the Rick connection, it would be perfect!

Awesome art + excellent guest star + magnificent baddie = damn good issue

This issue was pretty bad- how the hell could Marvell kill the Thing with a big spike?- but it became great when Thanos showed up.

I guess this deserves 4 stars due to showing Thanos being bad ass. Other than that, this was pretty lame issue. If Thanos wanted Rick the entire time, he could have just showed up and snapped his fingers at any moment.

I barely continued this series because of Rick Jones. I'm kind of glad I did. This issue was better than the last. Hopefully the quality keeps rising.

This issue gets an extra star, just for The Thing telling Thanos he needs a "good smack in the chops."

The fight between The Thing and Capt M. was fairly uninspired, but Thanos is awesome.

Rick Jones comes face to face with Thanos..and survives. Unfortunately. Enjoyed this issue.

Why is Rick Jones sooo annoying? My theory is the writers at the time thought they were creating a young hip dud. Hip for the the late 60's/early 70's. But, Rick just comes across as whiney, a'hole. All you want to do is punch him in the face and tell him to stop ruining everything he's in.

He's supposed to be the POV character in the Marvel Universe, something to give young readers of how they would fit in and react. However, as is defined in the Crusher paradox, likeability of these characters is proportionally inverse to the unfathomable importance they seem to have in their world.
Couldn't help but laugh at Death in this issue...looks like a freaking Jawa.

I liked that the Skrull were playing the long con with the mind control, but wasn't clear why they revealed Thanos at the point.
The Thing did seem weak in this issue, but maybe Marvel is that strong?
There's a breathless tone to Marvel/Rick Jones monologues that is really obnoxious.

Last issue in the comments I said that Jim Starlin provided this title with a much-needed shot in the arm. This issue, I find out he had steroids in that needle! Seriously!

Excellent issue. This arc is slowly showing the potential to being an epic. It's hard to believe we're only two issues in so far. Thanos's plan might be a little on the weak side so far, but heck, since he's brought a lot of power to the table he hasn't really needed one. I'm pretty curious to see what's coming next. Also enjoyed the appearance of the Thing. As of this writing, it's been quite awhile since we've seen the Fantastic Four in the Order.

4 stars. This title has rebounded from one of the worst of its time to one of the most relevant in very short order. That has to be a record.

Casually knocking out the Thing and Mar-Vell... Thanos is such a badass.

Logic according to Ben Grimm - I can't talk to tell him I think we're being tricked and are actually on the same side. Better punch him instead.
