Two ongoing subplots come to fruition. Brilliantly. The tension between Cap & Falcon (which I haven't been enjoying that much), and the ad campaign which is smearing Cap's good name. The ending is terrific. Great cliff-hanger. 9/10

Aw man. That's a buncha CRAP, what they're tryin' to do to ol' Cap!

Well... Now that I've seen those ads, I have to agree it all seems a lil' suspicious, don'tcha think?

This story is really neatly done, especially as it's been building up for the last like 10 or so issues. Very cool.

Also, it was pretty funny when Tumbler escaped from Cap by using his shield as a springboard.

I really liked the slow pace of this one and the ending was really well done.

Seriously? Cap sees Falcon in a 5 to one battle (in an empty street, no less) and runs back inside to get into costume then gets on the roof to allay suspicions? Instead of, you know, just joining the fight like a regular person...

The ad was really cool. They've caught my interest.

Man, I was a little let down at the end. They had a chance to legitimately have Cap kill the guy (like Harderman weakened his heart or brain so that even CA being gentle still caused his death) which could have led to actual drama and turmoil instead of the retread man out of time or girl troubles.
Otherwise though, a solid issue. I liked that rather than continuing to pout and feel inferior, Falcon decided to try to power up. I didn't like the reason given for his choice of Black Panther to be the one to help him, just because he's black. Even if you wanted to go along those lines, make it because he wanted to spend time in Wakanda experience the power and pride of their culture, as an inspiration of what he wants to bring to his own neighborhood.

That was a great way to depict a TV ad in comic book form. I've been looking forward to this arc for a long time, very excited to read it now.

This run is off to a good start. Some parts of this reminded me of elements from the Winter Soldier and Civil War movies. 4 Stars!

  Well, that escalated rather quickly.

I went into this plot with a little bit of trepidation because it would be really difficult to pull off a public character assassination of a World War II hero like Cap. But it's hard to overlook apparently killing somebody. I thought this was well executed (pun only slightly intended). Alas, poor Tumbler,we hardly knew ye.

Hope Falcon knows what he's doing, but his choice of Black Panther was actually a good one. He might be thinking that science probably wouldn't be the way to go to enhance his power, since he came from a more natural setting based on where Cap first met him.

4 stars. Great start to this arc.

There are so many reasons why Falcon could choose the Panther to help him, or they could actually meet or something, but no. Just dropping in a bit of casual racism instead. Because bigotry has never been exclusively white.
