It's a bit late in the story to introduce a new character but this is still a satisfying ending to the Doctor Doom saga. The fight with the (newly introduced) Seeker seemed like filler, to add a bit of action to the tale. Not really needed. Surely, Darkoth could have done much the same? Particularly the (clever) idea of him being invisible to sensors? Never mind, the actual finalé (with Dr. Doom and Darkoth out in space) was good. 6/10

Does this mean the FF are back together? No answers!!!

Can I just point out the fact that Doc Doom's plan would have been successful had it not been for him capturing the Fantastic Four? Satellite would have gone up unnoticed, or at the very least with nobody knowing what it was for, and Doom would have enslaved the Earth shortly thereafter.

Doom seems good at advance planning, but suffers in the moment. Sort of a better written Mad Thinker.

This was a real jumbled mess that kept jumping around and never really completing scenes. I'm also on the same page as Gator Man; everyone has suddenly forgiven Reed without explanation? WTF?!

Recommended listening for this story; What else?: "The Seeker" by The Who. He's been searching low and high....for the true reason why Ben and Johnny suddenly were pals to Reed again! Well, there IS still Sue to deal with....

We probably haven't seen the last of Darkoth. He made an interesting ally to the team, even though he and Ben were constantly at odds. I'm starting to find it interesting how DOOM is treating his hired hands; he mutilates one guy into a cyborg that resembles a demon, and makes two others blow their faces off at point blank (last issue). Dude, have at least some degree of respect to your employees; you wouldn't have hired 'em if you didn't think they were that inept, so start treating 'em better if you want to succeed. You know, less yelling and insults, do some morale building, install a workout room, maybe even a little Christmas bonus.

@duncanm: Yep, you're right, it would've worked except for one thing: DOOM has such a huge ego, he's gotta have an audience and can't resist rubbing any perceived triumphs in Reed's face. But he'll never believe you if you tell him that!

3 stars; docking one star from a 4-star story for Ben and Johnny's unexplained forgiveness of Reed like their anger never existed. Inconsistencies continue to dog Conway and his writing and plotting.

Quick, everyone grab your tin hats! I really hope the effects from that bomb reversed themselves, otherwise there's a whole heap of zombie people walking around. Which puts them one step ahead of Franklin. Good thing we're not worried about that this issue.
