ISSUE NOTES

  • This is the end of Sub-Mariners own book. He will not have another stand alone title until 1984.
  • Steve Skeates had previously written on DC's Auquaman. His run in that series was abruptly canceled and so three years later he worked in elements of his final story there into this book. While not a crossover, anyone reading that story then this one will definitely see a connection.

Who that man is? That's Aqua-Mariner or SubMarine-Man. Great Crossover (cause I believe it is one).

So long Namor. Can't really say I'm gonna miss this title. There were a few gems, but overall quite repetitive and tedious. Now that I think of it, kinda like "Lost."

I won't miss this title either. I like Namor much better as a part of a team book. He works better in smaller doses.

Well this sucked royally. Shame to end the book with such a lame story.
