When the narrative leaves Black Panther our interest wanes. But the main story is fantastic. The resolution extremely satisfying. 9/10

Black Panther hasn't had it easy in this run!

This is just mindblowingly good. I'm surprised it isn't higher rated. I guess some people aren't fond of the amount of exposition in this run, but I think it fits really well. I also don't think I've seen any story up to this point where the main character undergoes so much incredible hardship. I have gained a new found respect for the Black Panther, and I already liked him as it is.

Salamander K'Ruel is a retry stupid name but holy cow, that was by far the most horrific newt-related scene I have ever seen!

I'm actually relieved that the Panther is finally getting some medical treatment. He's really not had it easy.

If you don't have an increased respect for the Black Panther after reading this arc, you're wrong. Just plain wrong. And add a pterodactyl to the list.

Don't forget to add that newt to your list.
At what point does this just turn into the inspiration for Saw? At least he's made it home now to wash the dinosaur saliva out of his wounds.
I feel I need to point out that napalm doesn't explode. But it sure took care of Polly, so I'll give it a pass.

Black Panther is clearly the most badass character of the Order at this point.

This is a bit too drawn out for my tastes. Could have been a better paced 9 issue run.

What an ordeal T'Challa has been through. Maybe this arc has kind of meandered on the past few issues, but I have to agree with the other commenters; there really is nobody more bada$$ than the Panther in the Order right now. He has set a pretty high bar, and the artwork really conveys the pain and torture he's experiencing as he goes through this gauntlet in Serpent Valley.

And really, the only flaw this arc has shown is the villain names. K'Ruel? R'Eally? However, those quills...good thing T'Challa finally made it to an infirmary because they're going to leave some marks!

3 stars.

The villain here may have had a stupid name, but damn if he didn't live up to it. Don't forget, he also abandoned the other two with him to the newts and dinosaurs.
