Issue Review
   November 19, 2014
Part I - Solid issue. Very unusual first third, with the hero taking quite a pounding. Ends on an intriguing cliffhanger, too. 6/10

Part II - Mildly interesting, dark tale. Brutal. But there’s nobody here to feel any great empathy for. 5/10

This comic is surprisingly entertaining. I quite enjoy the brutality of it. =p

Average story about a broken man summoning a zombie bodyguard to beat up the bully lawyers who ruined his life.

This was an excellent story, kudos for savagery against lawyers lol

Phil's looking pretty zombified himself. Definitely doesn't look like your average 40 year old.
The Zombie was pretty easily dealt with by that cult, when last issue he dealt with them easily. And this time they're going after his daughter, and for all we know she is dead now.

Zombie took quite a beating in that one. I'm surprised how much I like this title so far.

The last two issues are much better than the previous ones. It looks like Gerber is figuring out the Zombie. I love the art in these stories.

Seeing a Zombie talk and think is weird, but it needs to for this comic to work.

Gerber is finding his satire footing with the zombie now.

Since when are zombies basically invulnerable? I just can't get passed that and it's ruining the series for me.

This one was actually kinda fun. Nothing like a guy who blames lawyers for his lot in life to luck himself into a pet zombie and sics him on them. If only I could train my cat to do that to bill collectors....

Lois is priming to be another Marvel female who's going to get hers by acting the way she did. Can't these mags depict a woman as an actual human being instead of someone who sees dollar signs in the man she marries? Someone high up in the corporate chain must've had a really bad marriage.

3 stars. Recommended listening for this story: old pop standard "Papa Loves Mambo" which takes on a whole new meaning in this story!

Those two in the diner were much nicer when Phil asked if he sounded crazy than I would have been. My response would have been more along the lines of "I'm sorry, I wasn't listening. I was too busy calling the men in white coats to come get you."
