Interesting story, with various character at cross purposes on a train. Successfully piques the interest for the upcoming story arc, by finally making Dracula aware of events the audience has been watching unfold. 6/10

That was certainly a crowded and messy trainride. Beware if you ever want to go to Transylvania, folks, it sounds like a hard destination to reach!

These vampire hunters can be so dumb sometimes. They know Dracula can change into a bat faster than they can impale him and yet they feel necessity to warn him that they are gonna shoot...

Why doesn't Drac lose the cape and dress like a normal? It's never been established that the cape has any significance and it's just a giveaway when he's trying to blend in.

Dracula's wing gets stabbed, but he is still able to turn into a bat and fly away a few panels later?

I think once Drac removes the stake he's good to go once again. My bigger question is the matter of time. At 3:42AM we get a panel telling us that the Count will arrive back in Transylvania in 6 hours. So at 9:42AM in the bright morning sun Dracula planned on leaving the train?
You would think that there would be a bigger panic on the train with fights and murders going on all over the place.

I liked the idea behind this more than the execution. It ended up being a little choppy, and not knowing who the German dudes were until the end made their deaths kind of meaningless. Also since Drac obviously didn't really kill Blade, I'm curious what's up with that.

The cover scene (and inside portion of it) is well done. This storyline has potential.

I have to admit, I'm getting tired of these monster titles.

The Orient Express this ain't! But it was a fairly entertaining romp nonetheless. I was a little more intrigued by the briefcase and the guys that were protecting its contents. I'd like to see more of what Doctor Sun is up to.

And yeah, Dracula should learn to dress more incognito, especially when he's having to travel in public like he did here. Even if he's messing with Harker, Frank and Rachel, it's usually best not to attract undue attention to himself, because someone could get in a lucky shot and end his menace (we know that won't happen, but you know....)

3 stars, but @HeffElf is right: the monster titles are getting tedious and repetitive.

You'd think the train staff would be more concerned with the broken windows and people being flung to their deaths. Surely someone noticed that.

OHMIGAWD, MARV, STOP USING "RAILROAD" AS A SYNONYM FOR "TRAIN!"

Ahem. Now that I got that off my chest, hey, nice comic!

The idea of following both sides of the vampire struggle is finally starting to work. I really liked Dracula's frustration over the centuries of opposition he's faced.

So if I ever ride a European train, I'll make sure to check the crew for hypnotism.

I actually like the way the various threads are coming together. Doctor Sun has his own thing going on in Ireland and suddenly, one of his reluctant agents encounters Drac.

I don't know where this is going but I'm actually interested in finding out.

Three stars.
