Aargh! How hard is it wait until actual freaking DAYLIGHT to try to stab him, Rachel?! The stupidity of these so-called vampire hunters is realty giving me the blues.

Why in the hell did she shoot the man eating mountain goat?!

I'm guessing she killed the mountain goat due to that "self preservation" thing Drac was talking about. She had a moment of weakness, and knowing that she wouldn't survive in the mountains alone exposed, her gut reaction was to kill the goat. Also, who says that it wouldn't have started chowing on her for dessert?
What was supposed to be the suspense shock of the year? Did anything shocking happen?

Did the goat have wooden teeth? How could it have killed Drac?

Where did the pilot come from to begin with, why was he not around when Dracula "sabotaged" the helicopter before?

Didn't Rachel leave in the copter with Drake at the end of the last issue? How did they get separated?

I like the 'trapped in the snow' storyline, but this was just randomly inserted into the plot. Where did Drake go?

Loved it, I loved the whole premise.

I'm hoping this current arc will clarify things, but I'm starting to wonder: are Rachel, Frank, Blade and Dracula really inept that they can't kill their targets? Or do they just enjoy the cat and mouse game? All of them have had several opportunities to end this, but nope. Everybody's still a-huntin'. It's kinda like the neighborhood exterminator after all the bugs are killed; he's so good at his job, he's out of a job!

The story did delve a little into the characters of Dracula and Rachel, but beyond that there's little else to it, and a few flaws that contradict past events (already stated above so I won't rehash).

3 stars. At least it was a bit riveting. If you imagine Drac as a normal but strong human instead of an undead vampire.

Rachel sure looked like she knew what she was doing in the helicopter last issue. Suddenly, a pilot spawned for the sole purpose of being murdered.

I think all the characters in this book are ancestors of Khan Noonian Singh. They--keep--missing--the--target!

Not bad, though. Dracula wants to turn Rachel into a vampire, Rachel wants to kill Dracula (but is soooo inept), the unnamed pilot who came from nowhere just wanted to live for at least one more page...

Still...

Three stars.
