Issue Review
   January 27, 2014
Very enjoyable, as several issues worth of story arc building are brought to fruition. Itís an action-packed installment with each battle feeling like a struggle. This is also one of the few issues that has successfully portrayed Dracula with dignity and nobility. 8/10

Some panels really were full of text, it was like a flashback to a decade earlier. That in itself is not that bad, if the story were any interesting.

It wasn't.

Sad to see that long-going sub-plot leading to that disappointing issue.

Gets an extra star solely on the basis of the two page brain transference splash. Still, that's only two stars.

  Disappointment... Disappointment for everyone!

I had fun with this issue, I thought it was a cool blend of sci-fi and horror, with a good amount of action. The protagonists were pretty much a non-factor in the story, but it tied up a lot of plot threads and gave some good insight into Drac.

I liked this too. There was good suspense about the relative strengths of Dr Sun and Brand, and I like seeing Drac fighting a different set of enemies.

"You're services are invaluable!"....Blade is the only useful hunter! I hate this little vampire hunting group.

Dr. Sun and Blade are the best characters in the book, even with the disappointing conclusion this issue.

A disappointing conclusion to this storyline.

I was a bit disappointed, but at Brand's death. Not that he was all that interesting, but he made for a cool counterpoint to Dracula. Of course, it was Doctor Sun that made this issue, and this arc. I agree with @jwerth; Drac needs different enemies to fight because the usual dance with Frank and Rachel is getting way too stale to sustain this title any more.

2 stars, but this title could stand more shenanigans from Doctor Sun!

I didn't like Dr Sun, something about a floating brain in a jar doesn't scream threat to me.
