Typically weak. First half (all action) is not bad, but second half relies on 'a Christ figure' to save GR's ass!!?? That is just bizarre. In other news, Ghost Rider appears to have his powers downgraded (?), as a consequence of being 'freed' from Satan's influence. Whatever that means. Also: Roxanne is written out of the series (I think). No great loss. Her stupidity in this issue alone beggars belief. 3/10

Ridiculous ending. That's even worse than a deus ex machina.

They should have gone with JC Team-Up. He solves all the guest star's problems in one issue.

By rights this little run of GR should have been two stars at best, but something about it was pretty fun. I thnkk it was the fact that even though the action was goofy, Rocky, Johnny, Dave, Stuntmaster, etc were all interesting, sympathetic characters.

I found this storyline surprisingly enjoyable. Not high art by any means, but good for a horror book of the time.

Seriously Jesus? You're okay to sit in the background when Galactus is going to wipe out all life on the planet or Annihilus tries to enslave the human race, but if Satan tries to take one guys soul, that's just too damn much! For that matter, how DID Jesus beat him? All he did was basically say "No, you can't have him".
So now Ghost Rider's only power is that his head turns into a flaming skull? Well that ought to help against the Hulk next issue. Although with Satan's powers gone, it (hopefully) opens the Spirit of Vengeance to take over soon.
