Good set-up and a good cliff-hanger, but the middle is a combination of silliness and padding that is unenjoyable. 3/10

Let's put fire in 4000 holes, so a dragon will come out, but to stop him, we will travel to the distant past, to Atlantis. (Oh, by the way, I have time travel powers!)

...

Yea, this one makes no sense.

Poor Daimon, he can't even order three beers in a pub without transforming into the Son of Satan.

I just can't get into Hellstrom. It doesn't appeal to me.

I loved this, but in the MST3K sense. It was hilarious for all the wrong reasons. How are you supposed to take seriously an evil event who's most likely culprits are gophers, and a title that sounds like it was borrowed from a porno.
Ah, the Legion of Nihilists: Westboro Baptist Church, the early years.
I love how everyone acts like it's perfectly natural to do Roman cos-play when it's the end of days.
If that guy in Atlantis knew how to stop the fire serpent, why didn't he? Not the most promising lead...

Who calls the police for a bunch of holes in a park? I just cannot get over that.

Daimon Hellstrom: a lucky man who made the grade. It's just one more Day in the Life for the Son of Satan.

For example, his problem-solving skills: "This mob dressed up like a bad toga party thinks I'm evil. Let me transform into a Scion of Evil to prove them wrong." Of course it didn't work, Einstein!

And I have to wonder why Daimon went back in time to Atlantis. Why not consult with Namor first about Zhered-Na? Comic logic, that's why.

2 stars. Only Steve Gerber could've written this and kept it at least somewhat entertaining!

I think my expectations for this series are so low that I actually enjoyed it. Although I did think the holes would be a lot bigger to justify how much attention they're getting.
