The Hulk vs. the Inhumans, with some hints about Counter-Earth thrown in for good measure.
The scene where Bruce transforms while being bullied by racists is one of the most satisfying in the whole series. 9/10

Every so often someone comes back with the idea to send Hulk into space, but we all know he always find his way back!

That was awesome. Black Bolt took out Hulk with just a whisper. Imagine if he yelled at him.

"You smell like fish!" Oh Hulk, how you make me smile.
All of the stuff that happened this issue is the Inhumans' fault. Black Bolt could have tried to slow down and redirect the Hulk instead of pinballing him into a mountain. With an angry separatist movement that hates humans, they let Banner walk around alone without so much as a warning, and then a group of Inhumans cause Hulk to come out because they are jerks. Then the royals attack him for defending himself.

Recycled plot of idea of sending Hulk to Counter-Earth is annoying, but there were some cool Black Bolt panels in this one.

Finally someone gave Banner some clothes.

Johnny Storm would have been less hung-up on Crystal if he had seen Trimpe's depiction of her.

Almost exactly what I come to Marvel Comics for. A bit of world building with The Ark & Counter-Earth. Some pathos with Black Bolt's solution at the end and a great deal of action built organically out of misunderstandings.

  - "man-brute in the hidden land" is my new favorite euphemism for any number of things

- Red Chinese? That would be a step up from jaundiced Asian

Filler issue. An above-average filler issue, though; more a stepping stone toward what could be an important arc. Considering we're on the even of Adam Warlock going cosmic this could be an attempt to close the door on his adventures on Counter-Earth.

Boy, that pair of Inhumans was sure dumb. I'm pretty sure the Royal Family must've issued an edict: "Hey, we have a human visitor walking in our midst for a short while. Do not make him angry; you wouldn't like him when he's angry." Some just gotta learn the hard way!

3 stars. These 'round-the-world and into space excursions the Hulk takes are kinda fun. It's just that, now everyone thinks Hulk/Bruce is dead again. Didn't we just go through this not that long ago?

  Katryn Says:

Hulk is better written in the Defenders than here. And seriously, the Inhumans have effectively tried to murder the Hulk. Yes, they're wanting to save their Refuge, but they couldn't send the Ark somewhere on earth rather than hurtling endlessly through space?

"Hey! Let's give Bruce Banner clothes!"

"OK! But make sure the pants are purple!"

Warlock is not going to be amused by what the Inhumans have rocket mailed him.

Still...Three Stars.
