Still not convinced by The Monsterís quest to kill the last Frankenstein. His reasoning for doing this is not really clear. And itís difficult to understand why the audience should sympathise with him. But this an enjoyable tale, even if some elements are OTT. 6/10

So the gypsy clean comes to "a large German town" and then we find out they're in Transylvania... I'm trying to figure out how they can justify calling the town German.

Nice buildup. Hope the next issue meets high expectations.

I hope to God that they tie in the characters into a cohesive story. I know this is a flashback, but Dracula supposedly died twice? And why is Monster dude trying to kill the last Frankenstein?

To be fair, a large portion of Transylvania, especially back then, were areas settled by German immigrants...so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that they're not just really stupid. Barely.
Monster is trying to kill the last Frankenstein because he is just a misunderstood kind soul with the desire for murderous vengeance upon an entire family line of whom only one member ever wronged him.
I'm curious as well as to how the Drac timeline works. Most likely he is staked again by Frankie, then at some point is moved back to his castle. But who knows, there is time travel involved in Dracula's mag after all.

Oh Frankie, you are so naive. But I guess that's to be expected out of a rudimentary intelligence. Then again, you probably couldn't see what was coming when you entered that tomb, since you couldn't have known there were vampires afoot.

As predictable as this was, it was still a nice setup to the arc. And you know, Carmen can give me a hickey anytime!

3 stars. I don't think there's any real time travel involved. Drac's spent a fair amount of time with a stake in his heart, someone pulls it out, he raises Hell for a little while, someone re-stakes him and he goes back to sleep. Probably happened a few times over the centuries.

Eh. Just eh. The dialogue was over the top and the story wasn't that interesting.

The writing in this one was forced. From Drako to the girl trying to flee Adam it seemed as if the writer was putting the words in their mouths which is not good writing.
