Issue Review

Relentless death and carnage, with scant regard for what happened in the previous issue. Grim stuff. Not much fun to read. 4/10

Man, this dude's life is just one tragedy after another. It's brutal.

I find Dracula much more interesting in this context than I have in hid own magazine.

Solid issue, but I'm surprised bt how much deadly violence and sex appeal made it past the Comics Code Authority.

I'm getting tired of this building up something it one issue and then barely touching it in the next while the story goes off on another tangent. It just happened in Thor 200, now here.

This is just getting worse and worse. Is humanity really this hateful and bloodthirsty?

Anyone else notice that Frankie was trying to kill a vampire by strangling him?
Once again, I find it hard to feel for this monster when he is constantly about to destroy everything around him. Yeah, he has every right to be upset that his friends got killed, but he abandons his last living friend, and the woman that appears to offer him the love he is constantly wanting, because his desire for violence is more important.

Wow, downright ugly story. Tragedy and death follow this monster around like a lovesick puppy. Hey, I'd be angry and clubbing people to death all the time too, if that was always happening to me!

And yeah, this issue did make quite a left turn, didn't it? From battling Drac to battling a town full of gypsy killers. I'm sure we haven't heard the last from Drac in this arc; the crossover has been interesting to say the least.

2 stars.

I'd care a lot more about the monster getting burned at the stake if he didn't constantly try and murder people. He was reasonably justified this time, but can't say the same thing for every other time. The guy's got a much larger body count than any of those villagers he killed.

The fight between Drac and Adam was pretty good as was the final fight between Adam and the village.

Not enough to raise the score.

Two stars.
