Hundreds of years ago, an African slave named N'Kantu rallied his comrades and challenged the rule of Nephrus and Aram-Set. The uprising saved N'Kantu from a life of slavery and prejudice, but it also prevented his death... forever.

Fairly amusing, actually, especially the 'historic' part.

This one felt incomplete. I enjoyed it though.

I Like mummy stories, but their range is limited. I'm willing to see how this progresses.

  At least that was quick.

It felt rushed, incomplete and bland. It was mildly entertaining and a little annoying the way it was written.

The cover says he's back for vengeance, but it seems to me he just wants help. I wonder if you could just take off the bandages and he'd be like "Oh, that's much better." Actually why didn't he take them off himself? Wouldn't that literally be the first thing you'd do if you finally got free after thousands of years?
Yeah, it was a co-incidence that this mummy got free and came to town the day they first uncovered the fact he may exist. So obvious that they even bring it up in the story, but that doesn't make it any less unbelievable.
Don't worry young Israeli woman, I'm sure that things will become very peaceful there in no time.

3 stars for the 1st app of the Living Mummy! He aint heavy, he's my mummy!!!

Cover Me - I like the Mummy karate choppin' the pillar!!

Desert Fox - I can see why the Mummy took it easy on Davida!!

No Prize - The Pharaoh goes from Arem-Set to Aram-Set and back again!!

Clogged - It's a good thing the tribe wasn't called the Swirlies!!!

Cleansing - The way they have N'Kantu spread eagle...I'd be afraid of where they stuck the hoses and tubes...

Retcon - @duncanm: On the co-incidence, It would've been better if the Mummy was drawn to Dr. Skarab's scarab pendant that once belonged to his ancestor Nephrus! Also, showing the Mummy awakening from the war going on around the ruins of the old temple!!

'Nuff Said - "Be still--let it show itself! We will be ready!"-Avram to Delicious Davida

Now here's a story creepy enough for you to yell for your mummy to save you!

The story was a little incoherent and, like some others have commented, missing a few elements. Maybe if the flashback were condensed by a couple of pages to allow for more present-time developments like the mummy's awakening, it could've made for better story flow. Still, this was a pretty entertaining piece, even if this was done to cash in on the monster craze. I'd think the possibilities for a series like this are pretty limited. However, I thought the origin flashback was excellent.

3 stars. Let's see how the mummy's story gets.....wrapped up.

For an insane immortal mummy, he seemed actually pretty reasonable and coherent. And dealt with the changes in technology better than some other characters in the Order have.
