Lilith Drake - Flimsy excuse for a story. Bland ‘heroine’ and implausible killer. 4/10

Angela Freeman - Short tale, with a fairly original idea at it’s core and a downbeat ending. 8/10

I agree. 1st story was ok, 2nd was lame.

Axe Guy: damn... I liked it, and this is the first issue where sex is outright named.

Angie's Soul: didn't see that coming. This was a great read overall. 4 stars for both stories.

So, does Angel know that Lilith is in there or not? It seems to go back and forth...

I thought this one was actually pretty good. So when did Lilith and Angel become the same person? Or does Lilith just use Angel's likeness for her own purposes? Regardless, I didn't think it detracted from the story much at all; in fact, I kinda like this setup. And the axe killer was pretty insane, but I can see his motivations. It's still a bit misogynist to believe that women back then were shunned for getting involved with a guy at that level before marriage; we certainly live in different times.

3 stars. @TheAmazingGatorMan: I think the word "sex" as a reference to intercourse was used once before, but I don't recall what issue offhand; likely one of the other black and white mags. "Sex" as a synonym to gender has been used at least once, too.

Well Lilith is interesting me more than Dracula so far, let's see how long that lasts.
