A solid balance of story, action and mystery.
I also enjoyed the debut of Colleen Wing.

Well, Iron Fist has been a pleasant surprise. I wasn't looking forward to this at all, but it's been quite good so far.

I agree with the above, this is easily the best martial arts comic series I've read in the order so far, and the title I'm currently enjoying the most.

i rememer reading one (and only one) powerman and ironfist comic when i was very young, and not liking it at the time. so i was not looking forward to this either.. but i too find this realy good!

This issue didn't answer of my questions, but I like that the mystery is deepening. This is the best surprise of the '70s so far!

Another good issue. Plus I see an add for a certain bub.

I guess that newspaper headline ruins any chances of him getting that job he was offered...

@AmazingGator Not necessarily. There's nothing forcing him to always wear that costume.
Okay my preliminary guess for who the ninja is is Meachum's brother. Didn't seem too shook up about his bro.

Teasing Batroc for the next issue is almost minus a star on its own.

Yep, should've known that was a trap. Looks like Joy has some of her father's connections. Interesting part of the character of Iron Fist is that he's a strong street-wise fighter, but naive in almost everything else. Of course, he's been out of the country for quite awhile, too.

And the introduction of Colleen Wing. We'll get to see her character develop some more as the Order progresses. I just hope she doesn't get messed up.

4 stars. This has been an amazing start to the series, 5 issues in.

Professor Wing really isn't bothered by that cult being after him, but I guess it has been 9 years and they still haven't managed to kill him. That's probably long enough to go from serious threat to minor nuisance.

"Oh, dear, Colleen, another one of those pesky death-cultists were on the front lawn. I chased him away with a broom."

In some ways, this series parallels Luke Cage's. However, where Luke finished off (for now) Diamondback, getting rid of Meachum has only led to a larger problem.

Three stars.
