Issue Review
   August 25, 2013
Standard Bad Guy attacks Good Guy (for nefarious reasons) story. Thereís not much to it, and Iím not liking the art. Still, the abrupt cancellation announced on the letters page seems somewhat unjust. Series that are much worse last much longer. 5/10

  Dull dull dull dull dull.

  Drax Says:

The best part of this issue was the letter page announcing that Warlock by Jim Starlin would be the feature in the next issue.

The best part od these golem issues so far are the flashback myth stories.

I'm not sure I can think of a more forgettable character in the MCU yet.

I think I can... wait... what was his name?... Damn... I forgot...

The best part of the Golem series was... Ummm... Well spit, I just don't know.

Nothing worse than a series ending on a cliffhanger. I mean, I'm sure that it will be somewhat resolved down the road, but if I was a reader when this first came out, I imagine I would be pissed.
The man in the beginning flashback was pretty dumb. Why not just order the golem to lie down, then you can erase the letter at your leisure.

  Two stars for two reasons.

Last issue featuring Golem and having a reprint at the back.

  Magik_Rune Says:
  2016-07-23 18:41:44
Well, at least that was short lived.

  Russ Says:
  2017-11-26 17:16:27
Well, at least I now have a reason to not look forward to Marvel Two-in-One #11. Hey, the Golem wasn't a horrible idea, just overdone by this time. And trying to make this "hero" Jewish just didn't separate it well enough from the likes of It! or the Hulk.

Still, just 1 star, and the return of Warlock as rendered by Jim Starlin waits in the wings.
