A fun Hulk/Spider-Man tale with lots of action and a surprisingly sad ending. I like the way this fits into events in concurrent Defenders issues, and there's something rather wonderful about The Hulk learning that his friends are in trouble via police radio, and getting directions from Spider-Man so he can go help them! 7/10

One of the better stories from Marvel Team-Up... still not great though.

Hulk just happens to land in front of the Chameleon? Talk about your lazy writing...

Why does the Hulks dialogue suffer when he's a guest in another comic series?

Been a while since we have seen the Chameleon. Always one of my favorite comic book villains. I really like how he has been written in the past few years. Chris Yost and Fred Van Lente did some great stuff with him.

Hey, the Hulk needs to land somewhere! Right in front of the Chameleon's car is as likely a place as any. I liked the little touches of Spidey knowing it was the Chameleon that impersonated him due to him forgetting to change his pants, as well as the fact that the Hulk was too stupid to notice. To be fair, so was I until Spidey mentioned it.
"On tonight's very special episode of Marvel Team-Up, the Hulk learns about the true meaning of friendship!" Although it doesn't really address what he thought was the issue when he left his friends to begin with.

I'm not sure why, but even Len Wein's better issues, like this one, leave me feeling meh. They always seem so by-the-numbers.
