RikerDonegal March 11, 2016This is good. For once, the series covers the month between full moons, and an interesting few weeks it is. The four main characters hide in a beach house, dreading the future. It makes great reading. And, something else unusual in this series, Jack makes a good suggestion about where to go for the full moon. Leading to an exciting battle and cliffhanger. 9/10 |

It's hard to take a villain named "Glitternight" seriously. Pretty decent cliffhanger, I wondered when they were finally gonna get around to this. |

This is so lame. The narration is so cheesy too. I think Moench was trying too hard. This sort of thing works for Shang-Chi stories, sort of introspective and philosophical. But for werewolves? Come on, man. |

You know things have gotten pretty serious once they've pulled out the carnivorous flying furry***monsters. That's a genie that can't just be stuffed back in the bottle.
I'm getting the feeling that the werewolf is going to get hisa**kicked, because the werewolf/lizard/demon sister looks a heck of a lot stronger. And while I'm impressed that they actually had Lissa transform instead of coming up with a solution to save the day at the last moment, I don't understand why she ended up changing like 15-30 minutes after Jack. If it's morphin time, then it's morphin time.
At least Glitterlight actually produced light in this issue (with bits of glitter, no less) rather than the beam of darkness like before. Makes his name appear a little more apt, if not less goofy. |

Kind of a mess, but the cliffhanger bailed out the rest of the issue. Sibling rivalry is about to take on a whole new meaning! And I also think Jack's about to get his tail handed to him. As much trouble as the werewolf has against ordinary opponents, Lissa is about to shred the fur off his hide and make it look easy. Cue the Dr. Demento classic "Dead Puppies Aren't Much Fun".

Just what we needed, two cheesy sorcerers. Frankly, I could live with the story if the art wasn't so...pedestrian.
