| ISSUE REVIEW |

by jfpj1991: I really enjoyed this issue. It was good to see an issue being devoted solely to a lineup change, rather than simply giving it a few lines or panels to explain the shift. I feel that the transition was smooth and the sorrow of the leaving members was really felt. The one downfall of the issue was due to the conflict in JiM. Thor was not present to pass the mantle down, and he was referenced several times, which seemed rather forced. |

Yayy, I love when the Avengers make any changes to the line-up. You can never expect what comes next (but judging by the quality of the previous issues, won't be bad). |

So the Avengers have a manual now? And I think my personal vendetta I'm developing against the Wasp is just increasing...
Strange that Hawkeye, of all people, thinks Cap shows no real superpowers.
Hmm, I like the replacements, but I'm a big fan of the old team. I'm really looking forward to their eventual return. But this issue was definitely well-presented, and I quite enjoyed it despite the, ah, changes. |

Really you liked? It was quite boring for me, and this was an big opportunity to make an awesome story.
I guess Stan wanted a chance to develop each of the old Avengers, without being worried about their monthly meeting, like giving time to Iron-Man fight the Mandarin for some issues on China or Thor on Asgard, while discharging Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Shouldn't becoming an Avenger more of honor and duty than power alone? Shouldn't Kang knows what happens before and after scanning the time? |

This is an exciting time for the Avengers. Honestly, I had no idea that Hawkeye would join their ranks this early on. I can't wait to see what the new team dynamic will be like. |

What a great issue. Loved seeing the new team form, even though they seemed to accept Hawkeye's story a little too quickly. I tend to prefer issues like this more than just the pure action-driven stuff.
Cap looks downright terrified on the cover. |

I'd be more skeptical about Hawkeye, considering he was perfectly willing to put a mans life in danger in order to show his skill with archery. Not cool, man.
Gotta give them props for this issue, though. Quite a bold move, to change the status quo like this. |

Hawkeye: Hey guys, I know I just attacked you with a gas arrow you... and tied up your Butler... and I'm a notorious super villain who you've fought numerous times... and have associated with communists...but I want to be a good guy now, can I join the Avengers?
Iron Man: Yeah sure, why not?
*facepalm* I hated this issue |

Oh course Rick expected to be announced as an Avenger, he has the ego of a Stan Lee teenager. |

A tad over dramatic but I really liked this issue and I'm stoked to see a change up for a while. |
