Itís very cool to see Spidey and Killraven together, but thereís no story. Just a dumb dream sequences thing. Huh?! 4/10

Spidey hasn't really been using his webbing as much as usual. In Salem I saw maybe 3 or 4 panels of him using it because there weren't tall enough buildings to travel around, and almost all of the fighting was close range. In this issue, same thing. He used it to pull down a couple of tripods, and to temporarily blind one guy, and that's it. I don't think he'd even have had to replace a cartridge yet.
VitualAdept, Killraven didn't murder anyone in this comic. He killed people in battle, so that they couldn't kill him, but that is a very different thing than murder.
I liked the fact that Spider-Man has a bit of a crisis of faith when he saw the way the future turned out, asking why he should even bother to risk his life fighting baddies when this is going to be where they end up. It's something that other future stories have never really dealt with. Of course they hand wave that away by saying it's only one of many potential futures, yet whenever heroes go back to fix something in the past it always affects their future, so there's something of a double standard there.

I dunno, I thought this was one of the better Killraven stories Marvel's done. It might've helped that he didn't have his supporting cast with him and they kept the pretentious and outlandish elements of his world to a minimum here. So maybe this isn't all that great; it's still pretty simplistic and uncharacteristic of a typical Spider-Man story, but compare this to just about any Killraven entry in Amazing Adventures and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Still, just 2 stars. Hey Spidey, you gotta learn to steer that thing if you wanna get home.
