Part 1 - Not much happens, but what does happen is well told. And the mechanics of the effects on the time stream are fascinating. 8/10

Part 2 - Enjoyable action fare. Gives all the heroes a turn in the spotlight. There’s a minor twist in the last scene. Very effective way of keeping the story going. 7/10

-This is a fun issue despite all the oblivious plot holes and time-travel problems. They try to explain it all away as an alternate continuum...
-I love the "Dr. Strangelove" reference.
-So at this point in "Marvel Time" Reed and Ben were still talking about fighting in The Big One. That would mean they were in their late forties or early fifties. I'm interested to see the point at which this "history" starts to mutate...

@redsvetz: I think it is later explained that it is impossible to travel in time to your own past. The timetravelling in it self, creates an alterante reality. Or something.
But nice story

  Too many comic book clichés.

A decent story all around. Loved it when Sue said she'd never been to WWII before.

The FF should have called the good doctor for time travel questions and help.

There is something deeply disturbing about Toro. A kid walking around in a speedo calling an old unrelated guy Pappy... *shudder*
Is it weird that The Watcher just looks wrong with a regular sized head?
Some cool visuals from the different team-ups here, especially the three Torches flaming into battle.
Ben is seriously overdramatic on that last page. Why would he take care of things himself, rather then just telling the rest of the group that baldy is still hanging around?

This was a fun little romp, worthy of being in an Annual. With these time travel stories, it seems like they finally hit on how to handle them. Imagine the quantum physics implications of creating infinite alternate realities though. It'd take a big brain like Reed hundreds of years to research it all out! Or Stephen Hawking a few minutes. (I dedicate this comment post to the memory of Prof. Hawking, RIP)

I think Roy did a decent job with the Invaders here and in their own run in the 70s. In retrospect it was a trial run for his more successful DC mag All-Star Squadron, where he had a stronger pantheon of characters to work with, but he made it work here. However, I know Bucky and Toro were orphans, but it seems weird to have kids fighting in a major war.

3 stars. Yeah, Ben needed to grab the rest of the Fantastic Four and tell them the problem caused by the vibranium wasn't solved yet. But, we get a run of stories in Two-in-One as a result. That should be better than Two-in-One's recent arcs, I hope.
