Issue Review
   July 14, 2014
Things fall into place much too easily, and the second half is a slugfest that drags on too long, but Tigra is very easy to like a lot, and itís an enjoyable comic. 6/10

Kraven's ultra-sonic blasters look suspiciously like nipple beams.

This feels like a fill-in, but the Kraven fight was awesome.

Definitely a filler, but the best filler I've read so far.

Wait, what about last issue's ending with Red Wolf? Awkward timing to insert a filler.

The artist realizes that it's a lion's mane that is around Kraven's neck, right? Because half of the time his wardrobe appears to be going super-saiyan while he's just standing there.
That little girl had all the survival instinct of a depressed lemming. I'm pretty sure if she had been killed that would have counted as natural selection. At least the hospital seems to be trying to turn her into Galactus.

Pretty good issue even if it doesnt fit with last issues ending.

Kraven looked better here then he has in a long time.

That was awful. A really tropey, cliched framing device to set up a horribly contrived plot in this obvious filler issue. The fight between Tigra & Kraven is the only thing saving this from just 1 star from me. One of the worst issues written by Claremont that I have read.

This was a ton of fun! I really like the neo-noir style narration they've got going on in this title. The only thing I didn't like about it was the downplaying of the feminist origins of the character.

Claremont has Greer saying, "A few years ago, I was a college undergrad-turned-housewife, married to a cop and loving every minute of it."

But that's a gross simplification of Linda Fite's original intention for the character. She was married and loved her husband, but he was also domineering and condescending. I really wish there were more women working in the comics industry during this era.
