Issue Review

Things to like and things to dislike here. The Seventh Sense idea is a bit vague, but here itís put to a good use: MM sees herself in a battle in the near future and has to figure out whatís going on. Great way to start a story. Donít see that very often. She winds up in a fight with another hero (The Vision) which is, sadly, something we see all the time. Although I have a personal dislike for hero vs hero battles, this one did eventually prove interesting. The story, itself, is pretty good. The only other negative point is the whole Carol/MM identity thing. Itís getting to be a drag, and it weakens her somehow. As does the presence of the psychiatrist character. What is he? Her boyfriend? Just some random psychiatrist? Weíre five issues in, and we still donít know. Thatís not good. 7/10

  -Mammarific mayhem!
-I hate the way MM uses HER Kree Science instead of her KNOWLEDGE OF Kree Science.
-Everytime MM says "Hala!" I can't help but hear Missy Elliot say "Hollah!"

The last few issues haven't been as good as the first one, but there are still enough mysteries to keep me coming back.

It would be better if Carol Danvers was trully Ms. Marvel instead of seemingly repeating the pattern of CM sharing his body with Rick.

At least these misunderstandings are believable when they involve a new hero.

Still annoying as all get out.

Exactly! They seem keen to duplicate the least interesting/most annoying part of the parent series. Sigh.

Agreed, and at least they wrote this misunderstanding into an actual believable one as well, and not some contrived attempt at euphonious pugilistic storytelling.
