So DD can sense whats on tv monitor? Stupid!

  TStarnes Says:
  2012-01-22 10:34:12
Yea, that's one thing that always bugged me about DD. His powers always seemed a bit.... inconsistent.

  Webslinger Says:
  2012-09-22 21:18:51
Dd's powers are still poorly explained, even thought they hintemd some more stuff on an resent issue; what bugs me most is how can a normally strong man jumps three, four stores down and grabs on a ledge without inuring himself, and I wonder, when we will be clued on that, but that's Dd's problem.

The villains were really weird, but not that bad an issue anyway.

  chrys Says:
  2012-12-06 12:23:53
It seems pretty useless to look for consistency in DD's powers, much less logic. By the way, whenever someone's heart speeds up, they're lying or excited. If it's Karen, it means she's in love - even though on page 18 he knows she's lying.

Why in the world do they call women females like on page 3? Was that common usage in the 60s?

  spencer617 Says:
  2013-04-17 11:19:15
Daredevil was in the same room as the Organizer for two pages. His power is consistent. He doesn't need to see the television to sense some details such as voice and transmission quality, and he never claimed to see the ring on TV.

  leisch Says:
  2013-08-06 10:19:15
In the 60s when a woman in Marvel is referred to as a "female" it's usually a term of disdain.

  Antifa Says:

1 star story, 3 star art. so 2 stars.

"It's too early for Agent[s] of SHIELD!"

That moment when you realize Stan Lee can see the future.

  marvelcomicslover Says:

These Daredevil comics need way more character development.
A Scooby-Doo crappy ending.

  gloomyharvester Says:

Matt Murdock is a real pal. "We're short on the rent this month? Well, that's it then, I quit. I'm going to travel the world!"

Why don't you let them use one of your multiple apartments as an office, Murdock?

  arsenal009 Says:

End of Powell's run at Marvel. Good riddance.

End of Wood's original stint at Marvel as well. Hopefully the writing gets better from here on out.

Will miss Wood's inking though.

"Oh, her heart's beating so fast...but is it because she loves me, or because she loves Foggy???"

Decent conclusion for an overall blah story. Foggy and Happy are still the same character in different comics, just a bunch of lame, heartsick chumps.

You can thank Stan Lee for all the soap opera like drama he insists these comics contain.

  TheAmazingGatorMan Says:

I have this 4 stars for the overall arc. I didn't think this was terrible like lost everyone else thinks. I am glad that it appears the love triangle will go away for a while at least.

  AwesomeSauce Says:
  2014-08-17 11:11:00
The return of Stan Lee to this issue was entirely unwelcome. The drama feels like it's entirely retread from better comics. The civilian stuff is just so bland.

  Locust75 Says:

Just 2 stars for the Ani-Men becoming unorganized!

Splash - On the splash page it says that Deborah Harris was Foggy's college flame, but last issue she was his middle school girlfriend....

Change Up - If the Organizer is not afraid of the Cat-Man telling the cops what he knows. Why try to kill him last issue then???

Getaway - So, their escape is a......gangplank off the building???

Master Plan - Also, if the Organizer is Jonas, why have the Frog-Man try to kill him last issue?? It was only Daredevil that stopped the spear gun from hitting him!!

'Nuff Said - "It's a new beginning! For all of us!"-Matt Murdock

I really liked the detective feel of this issue and particularly dug the art on the bottom of mpahe 17. The writing fell apart at the end with a Scooby-doo feel to the end of the crime and a soap opera end to the firm, but it was still a very good book.

Couldn't agree more, that ending is a disaster and good lord I'm tired of all this romantic angst. I would love to see a psychological analasys of Stan's writing during this period.

For supposedly being best friends, Matt and Foggy have a strange way of showing it. Must be that female they work with.

Biiiiiird Man! C'mon, I know somebody here has watched that cartoon. AND he has a sidekick falcon named Avenger. How coincidentally awesome is THAT? At least, I think it's a falcon...

I thought that was a particularly surreal reference (so much so it made me look into these comments and to see if a similarly named show existed back in the 60's), and I'm surprised that the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Wikipedia page doesn't mention the reference.

  RobinHoodMtl Says:

  • That's my line "Now that Froggy is dressed in my own Daredevil suit, I'll drop him off a police headquarters before he gets gravy stains on it!" (Daredevil)

  • As any blind man usually can, Daredevil should have been able to recognize the Organizer's voice, shouldn't he?

  • And wouldn't the Organizer be able to tell Frog Man is a fraud too?

  • I like that in this universe, there is a TV show called 'Agent of SHIELD'.

  • Every reader saw that ring, right? But no matter now obvious that clue was, there is no way Daredevil could have sensed it through the Organizer's communications device. For Heaven's sake, the guy is not a psychic!

  • Now Matt has enough money to travel, but not to pay the rent for the office? That's a little cheap of him!

  • Boy, that ending sucked! The story could have been good, but there were so many flaws that it only deserves 2 stars.

Well... Eh. But let's see what's next... A solid string of "essential" Fantastic Four issues, including *The Galactus Trilogy*, and some essential Spider-Man issues? Hell. Yes.

  RobinHoodMtl Says:

I don't know if anyone noticed but in last issue, Frog Le Blanc was an old skinny bald man, but on first panel of page 9, he's an medium built black-haired dude! C'mon! This is not just a change of clothes or a special drawing style. This is a completely different character! I guess that is what you get when you change artists in the middle of a story!
