Issue Review

RikerDonegal
   December 10, 2015
An interesting story, with a creature executing a large kidnapping plan for an unseen villain.
It starts slow. Early scenes of superheroes chilling and eating pizza are fun, but the switch to 'comedy' in a classroom is pretty painful.
Later, the real story starts. And it zips along with a couple of short, enjoyable action scenes.
The cliffhanger is strong.
6/10

-Sweet fancy stereotypes! I'm gettin' sick of the 70s.

I know it's the 70's, but to call a race of people "the blacks" is disgusting and dehumanizing.

One of the reasons the Thing is one of my favorite characters is because we get to see him do "normal" things quite a bit. We see him do more than just fight bad guys. And we even get a little glimpse into Black Panther's life here, too.

Generic Vampire is generic.. except he is also a Zombie!

I had to give this an extra star for the first 11 pages because they were fun. I liked the everyday aspect it showed of the Thing. Washing his trunks reminded me of Brody's question to Stan Lee.
