Issue Review
   February 12, 2016
Extraordinary. Here, we see that Howard is possibly the most complex and believable character in the Marvel Universe. The weight on his shoulders as he goes on a mundane, but event-filled, walk through the night is palpable. His longing to see his friends is understated and all the more affecting for it. Reading this comic will make you sad, profoundly sad, as you finding yourself empathising with the lonely duck. The absurdity of the fantasy situations make it easier for Gerber to write about ordinary things we've all felt and make it real. Amazing stuff. 10/10

Gerber keeps trying for profound but ending at confusing.

Is Marvel really going there with rape fetishes? Jeezum crow!

I wouldn't want every comic to be like this, but I loved this issue. It's a lot of fun to get inside a character's head like this once in a while. It doesn't hurt that Gerber casually invents more interesting characters in a single issue than some writers do in their careers.

And we're back to nothing happening. This series has been a lot of nothing with short bouts of half-assed story.
